ReplyMike Pence got less than 2 minutes of this interview, yet that was probably enough! He turned out to be such an insignificant figure in the end – a totally loyal lackey to the president, yet hoping against hope that he could eventually get the top job. It’s astonishing in retrospect that liberals were so worried about him before 2020. I remember people being really worried about the “extreme right-wing fundamentalist” who would take over if Trump were impeached. Many even said don’t impeach Trump because Pence would be far worse. Yet it’s obvious that he would have been a boring establishment politician achieving little and useless at campaigning. A “President Pence” would have been fantastic news for Democrats, and also much better for democracy than Trump
