Over the weekend Captain Michael Packard was “swallowed” whole by a humpback whale off the coast of Cape Cod and his First Mate, Josiah Mayo, was there to see the entire ordeal. Jimmy wanted to know all about it so we invited them to Hollywood to give us all the details.

Thanks Jimmy, I got to see this guy, what an amazing story. Now I know Jonah was not in the belly of the whale, he was obviously in the mouth of the whale. Whale throats are too small to swallow a human.

Are you sure Captain Michael’s name is right? It’s not Jonah?

I’m wondering what kind of breathing equipment he was wearing in that whale? Even thirty seconds is a long time without warning to hold your breath.

Apparently you can last three days and three nights in a whale, so 30-40 seconds aint a big deal.

A true story honestly told by a modest man with a sense of humour and with the firm knowledge that he was very lucky to escape a really death-defying situation. Aided of course by the great Jimmy Kimmel. . . . .
