Jeff Garlin tells Seth about the time he spent a night in jail for felony vandalism.
hi uploading crew
Why is it that his voice sounds weird?
He looks like a guy who would tell that story – EXACTLY the way we just saw it – to the judge the next morning.
It’s really exhausting how for wealthy people in this country the police act like a private security force, protecting their property above all else. How much did it cost the taxpayers to arrest someone just for messing up some woman’s Mercedes? It’s not like he was a random vigilante attacking any Mercedes he saw. He didn’t represent a threat to the public, so why is the public paying for his discipline..? If that woman wanted him to pay for her windshield she can force him to in civil court, not force us to pay a private security force to rough up everyone she gets into an argument with.
Now I’m worried about the windows in my car. Maybe it’s related to them being double-glazed.
Great story Jeff! There’s no such thing as a bad experience if you learn and grow from it. #life
