ReplyI’m glad to be alive during the Jean Smartaissance.
ReplyI love her, so talented. It’s nice to comment early when there is no negativity.
ReplyWhat did she do to her finger there? Another iPad acting related injury? Acting’s dangerous!
ReplyLove her!
Replyi have no idea who she is.
Reply“Kate Winslet sent it to me _on my phone_ ” 😄😄😄
ReplyShe’s incredible. And so attractive. I have the biggest crush on her.
ReplyI discovered Jean Smart because of HBO and she is a monster talent. I really wanna see more from her. Watchmen and Mare were both great roles for her.
ReplyI bet whoever didn’t do well on the first 4 takes feels pretty bad..
ReplyHow did she quarantine for 3 days?
ReplyOddly enough, the first thing I experienced her in was The Oblongs! Such a funny and charming lady!
ReplyActing is one of the few art forms that relies upon other art forms in order to succeed. Writing and Directing and Acting are each part and parcel of the experience. When the synergy is there, it’s magic. Jean Smart is magic. She is value-added to any piece she’s in. Everything is made better by her presence. “She’s a g*dd@m national treasure!” and I wanna be her boyfriend.
ReplyShes been in so many good things lately, shes awesome.
ReplyGo watch Jean Smart in “The Man Who Came To Dinner” on YT…she is so freaking fantastic !
ReplyShe has such gorgeous skin!
ReplyShe is so under rated. Shes amazing on Mare!
ReplyLove her, always have!❤
ReplyI’ll always remember her as THE First Lady in 24 Season 5, she was incredible!
ReplySeth is such a classy interviewer
ReplyI’d love to go out on one date with her. No sex, unless she wanted it, just a date so I could tell her something funny so I could hear that laugh.
ReplyHer best role was on LEGION
ReplyThis is NOT a conflict and it certainly isn’t a conflict of equals!! This is about a people resisting illegal occupation as per UN resolutions, pure and simple! End occupation, and return the land to its righteous owners and then and only then peace may prevail…
ReplyWhat is happening in Gaza and Jerusalem is a violation of human rights and war crimes, not clashes or violence. It isn’t a conflict when one side is the oppressor and the other the oppressed. Stop portraying this as an equal fight! This is an apartheid regime enforced by Israel.
Bombing children in their homes can’t ever be considered as a “self defense” ! The unacceptable use of power to destroy complete neighborhoods with families in them is not self defense! This is terrorism!
“You take my water,
burn my olive trees,
destroy my house,
take my job,
steal my land,
imprison my father,
kill my mother,
bombard my country,
starve us all,
humiliate us all,
but I am to blame:
If I shoot a rocket back.”
A nuclear US backed superpower, functioning as militaristic apartheid and ethnic cleanser, terrorizing, expelling, killing people with no power, and calling this self-defence.

Magnificent cackle
ReplyAlso, this woman just lost her husband of 34 years eight weeks ago. I feel awful for her having to do all this press and ride the success of her shows while she is mourning.
ReplyShout-out to anyone who was lucky enough to see her Lady Macbeth in 1980 at the Pittsburgh Public Theatre… She’s a dream.
ReplyI went down the stairs, then i went to work.
ReplyIf you want to have fun check out Jean Smart on Fraser. Her character was great.
ReplyKate’s had so much plastic that I’m not surprised he didn’t recognize her. 🙁
ReplyI read she lost her husband recently, and it made me tear up. I wish the best for Jean <3 She's a treasure.
ReplyEasttown is very good but it’s a bit depressing and angry at times so for me at least, I’ve almost given up on it. I’m hooked now and like a good trout I’m ready to be reeled in and eaten.
ReplyI thiught she can’t be old enough to play Winslet’s mother! So I checked. She is one year younger than me! She is a great talent. Hilarious. And gorgeous!
ReplyDesigning Women! Come on!!
ReplyI’m just watching this Interview in Éire, 1st time it’s 2305hrs, Friday 14th May…
ReplyWhat is she spouting..
1st she said “I made sure the producers gave her (colleague) the job… Who she like? And Kate W! … Yer bs,… Nah she reeks of Ellen…. All” let’s be lovely “but really” let’s be lovely to me, and PAY ME BIG DOLLA”
Even Seth at begginin of interview was like “Wat shite are you chanting JS….” he’s really on the ball at pointing out typical BShiters, and I could see he was “What!!!!”
ReplyHer “I told producers to…….”
I will always love Jean Smart’s laugh, and I’m so glad that at 34 I know who she is. Designing Women was everything. 😊
ReplyI didn’t realize what a terrific actress Jean Smart is until I saw her in Season 2 of Fargo on FX.
ReplyShe kooks like a million bucks!!! I know she is older than me. I just checked. She’s 69, she will be 70 in September. *SHE LOOKS FABULOUS!*
ReplyI thought that was Kim Cattrall
ReplyI love Jean Smart. She’s one of those actors whom it’s always a pleasure to see.
ReplyJean absolutely crushed it on Hacks. It has been so great to see her in such a string of great shows and even better roles. From Legion to Watchmen to Murder Durder, I could watch her read a phone book and still be intrigued but the characters she has been playing lately are simply delicious to watch! Please cast her more! Everyone needs to Get Smart!
ReplyShe’s absolutely fantastic. And she has such a great sense of humor, so refreshing.
ReplyLove Jean Smart
