James, you have been one of my favourite talk show hosts and now I respect you even more for using this platform to reach out to a larger audience about the atrocity of gun laws in America. Its absolutely senseless how people continue to advocate gun freedom, almost as if it was some sort of twisted patriotic hubris.

America is making a big nonsense of democracy. If America was the only democratic country who would want democracy.

I suppose the police had no alternative but to kill the gunman. If only he had survived. Maybe, just maybe, we would understand why this horrific massacre took place. God bless the victims, friends and relatives. I will be lighting a candle and saying a prayer here in the UK.

nothing will change. the US is far too deep into the gun culture and lifestyle now. If u take away people’s guns, they will say u r nazis. Also, there is one valid point from republicans (Rarely), that some people feel more unsafe without a gun, especially at home and in bad neighbourhood. So this mentally creates a vicious cycle that people cant get out of now. It is too late now. U cant take away people’s gun in this day and age. The most government can do is to better regulate who gets to have access. But easy access isnt hard to come by anyway

The murder of a child is the most heinous act there is. I hope there is a special place in HELL for cowards like these.

People need to stop saying this is a mental health issue. All countries have mentally ill people but they don’t have these mass shootings.
