James’ collar is off at the start of the show but luckily our stage manager quickly fixes it before James dives into the news of the day. While asking a question to the Late Late Show staff, James finds out that one of his staffers is wearing earplugs. James then asks the staff and audience whether the Late Late Show should attempt a Guinness Book of World record attempt at the Longest Talk Show Broadcast. Our co-head writer, Lauren Greenberg, then weighs in on whether guys dating profiles should include shirtless pictures.

Why are people thinking 72 hours is 4 days? Four 24-hour days would last 96 hours, not 72. Three 24–hour days will last 72 hours. Have schools stopped teaching elementary arithmetic?

what if……the 72+ world record attempt is held on the long promised cruise?! 72+ hours at sea with no sleep, it’d be awesome!

I’ll say it again…you’ll be missed James. Wish you could have stayed on with the show.

The thing about going for 4 days straight is he can have so many guests come out and they have literally no time frame where they can end the interview. They literally can just talk for hours and if they get off subject then that will even waste more time

According to James, I’m Middle to Upper class. Thank you, James. You are too… Well, obviously. You make millions times more what I make. Literally! It’s what I get for choosing Comey writing for a career at 40 years old. In my defense, I almost died and it took a toll. So now, I spend the day, laughing at myself.

Whatever happened to the cruise? Combine the cruise and the world record. That way, there is plenty going on to keep him alert and occupied
