In the final part of his conversation with Anderson Cooper, who joined us live from Lviv, Ukraine, Stephen asks the veteran journalist why it’s important to report from war zones and how he and CNN decide what images are appropriate to broadcast to the world. #Colbert #AC360 #AndersonCooper
Stay safe Anderson so you can come home to your sons.
Replyone of the most honest and moving interviews I have seen. Glory to Ukraine!
ReplyI totally agree with Cooper. We should also show Ukranian border guards deny African and Indian students evacuation because of their race. Show us everything!!! The pregnant African women being kicked off the trains and denied access to Poland!!
ReplyA children’s cancer ward being shelled? What – The – Fuck?!!
This is precisely why we need a free press. Remember, Trump labeled everything that was reported that he didn’t like “fake news” and his buddy Putin is doing the same.
ReplyMore American lies. More Russian lies. I hope Americans and russians go to war and leave the rest of us alone. Rot in hell America. Rot in hell Russia.
ReplyGlory to Ukraine. Glory to the heroes. Thank you, Anderson Cooper for your heartfelt witness to this evil war. Stay safe.
ReplySo according to the Western Media Only European Blond Hair, Blue eyed and white people have the dignity for fleeing war zone but when this same countries invaded Iraq, Libya or Syria those people had not dignity ? What sham these western media and their so called human dignity. Disgusting to the core belief
ReplyA former president lies about his supposed gr4eatness every chance he gets.
ReplyAnderson Cooper, and the many Ukrainians don’t have to. He and they just are.
I DISAGREE ANDERSON:
Replyyour job is to report back the REALITY not your interpretation of reality..
you censoring images or deciding which are acceptable pictures and which are not is why you fail at your job of reporting..
Anderson Cooper couldn’t have said it any better. The soul wants to be witnessed. Having empathy is a skillset that many people don’t have the ability within their consciousness to comprehend.
ReplyWhat makes Anderson Cooper a good reporter is that he is one of the most empathetic ppl I’ve ever seen in television. You can tell he feels. He’s not fake.
ReplyIt’s so funny how White people are redefining what war is like to the world as if there hasn’t been war constantly going on in the world at almost every single moment since I first drew breath. The hypocrisy is breath-taking even after the world already made them realise their hypocrisy/racism. They just can’t help themselves. And oh the Ukrainian people are such strong people … unlike all the other people in the world who were born into war and have never know a day of peace in their lives … nonsense!
ReplyGreat job Anderson, going to places where people are being traumatized and killed by a dictatorship invading their own country. Maybe Palestine can get some of that devotion u have for the helpless in places of war..
ReplyI still remember the Weapons of Mass Destruction propaganda, fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me, no going to happen this time MSM.
ReplyUkraine is not a place. It is the people. That should be the motto.
ReplyStop lying! By now everyone knows what it is all about! When Nato and EU would admit that it’s entirely their fault and responsibility for this mess, jail Zelenski for crimes against humanity and apologize and ask Russia to sit and discuss all the points, only then this war can be stopped! Then we – European taxpayers will rebuild Ukraine – THANK YOU VERY MUCH Mr Presidents, because we did not have anything better to do!!!
ReplySocialist globalist profiting while destroying America sick
ReplyAnderson Cooper for President. How good he would be.
