‘Pose’ star Billy Porter is a man who wears dresses. And he can’t believe that’s still an issue. #LSSC #Colbert #BillyPorter
I love Billy such a beautiful human❤
I’d never thought about the empowerment that women gained by shedding the stuffy layers & wearing pants & the implications/assumptions involved when men wear dresses. 🤔 He has a really good point. “Who wears the pants in that relationship” = who has control & whose calling the shots. But a “bitch” as well as a “pussy” is someone who is weak, can’t stand up for themselves, is easily pushed around.
I’m so down with men wearing dresses if they want to!
That hat became cool the instant Colbert took it off and put it on Billy Porter.
This clip is the personification of why I love SC so very much! Not only is he open to all of his guests, he is also willing to have fun with them. Thank you Stephen for being a highlight to my day!
Someone clearly needs attention and has internal issues he can’t deal with
I’d wear that crushed velvet hoop tuxedo, fuck yeah.
What a freak
I didn’t know Katharine Hepburn made women’s trousers a thing! Although upon some googling I found out that the first woman to wear pants (in public I assume) was a suffragette. So, there’s that bit of info for you. Have a good day.
When you have to wear a gold pants dress and over act to be the center of attention you clearly have issues.
How beautiful was that! Thank you, both of you 💙
Never heard of this guy until now.
Love Billy so much. So talented…verrry fashionable.
Aww damn, this just made my day!
5:37 ~ going to try to correct his path, his family always loves him most. Chuckling “lord may i survive this guest” ~ on the positive side, really amazing vision (suit dress, i want women in that), impressive fashion strength. Just want project graduation to maintain the belief of #MarsHillChurches and the biological need of #PenisHome all good men should preserve.
Can’t say I like what he’s wearing here, but I did like his Oscars outfit. Also the wings were cool.
Gotta love the gays…
And cue all the uncomfortable, straight male neanderthals who can’t see the positives in variety. Nothing so terrifying as a man who doesn’t confirm to their own strict world view.
Wonderful, meaningful interview. Very wise, loving, bold words.
well hey, was Billy Porter related to Sir Sidney Poitier the dancing from both was styling in class and finesse thank you, gentlemen!
