Yeah, those passive-aggressive “fights” can be a real buzz kill. Don’t worry, an inexperienced but qualified entertainment industry armorer checked out the revolver before shooting the scene at 1:00.
Until the last exchange, this was enjoyable. I feel that it was slightly tone deaf to brandish a revolver (i dont care if 3 chambers were obviously empty) with the “Rust” case and death of Halyna Hutchins so recent and still making news when discoveries and/or decisions are made. Since it was able to purchase and brandish a weapon, why not then notify him his remaining coffee pods had been poisoned instead? Makes just as much sense and can be sold by a cut back to him, all while maintaining the appearance of an all powerful AI who doesn’t need to hold thing and showing – what would by nature be missed by the viewer – respect and sympathy to that recent event and the many people effected by it.
