What can I expect to be in a potluck?
ReplyI Love Desi
ReplyForget the election sonic frontiers just came out
ReplyDesi should just suggest them to recruit thousands of pole dancers to be poll workers, because they are already trained and will definitely get more guys out to vote!
ReplyDemocrats and the left already coming up with excuses huh Trevor
ReplyWe need to make voting mandatory, but guess who would never allow that law to pass.
ReplyHahahaha, the captions say votedemic 2020
ReplyEven though poll workers volunteer. They do get paid tax free for the day. I used to volunteer when I was 17, 18 and 19. We didn’t get training as far as I can remember. We just was assigned to a location near where we worked and expected to show up. Those with prior experience would show us what to do and tell us the rules. It’s a slightly different expectation in each state and city.
ReplyPathetic How US conduct elections. India has much more matured process and technology.
Reply“Thank you for your service” applies to poll workers too.
ReplyWhy doesn’t Poll workers receive fair compensation for their time when the job they do is so important to upkeep democracy?
ReplyI’ve to admit that in my 24 years of being part of the pole worker team, one individual, just one, thanked me for doing what we do.
ReplyBut the food is great and the feeling of being the backbone of democracy makes my day.
Desi is a national treasure.
ReplyIf it was important they would pay for it. Obviously it is not important. I have an idea. The Police can do it. They are public servants who have to be impartial as part of their jobs. They can do it. Also, they get paid. Every week. They even have a union.
ReplyI’m applying to be a poll worker in the next election.
ReplyThere is a shortage in poll workers because it is a VOLUNTEER based role that requires training. When you have Americans working 2+ jobs, there is no time to volunteer. Volunteering implies that you have time to give away and in modern day America, capitalism always wins.
