ReplyDon’t forget what producer she was very close with Harvey w and she boasted about having a abortion at the golden globes she’s not a nice person. Ps equal pay is the biggest bull ever.
Reply80$ a day??!! 😮 Could have never imagined that for her!
ReplyMark and his agent saw an opportunity to hold up a very very small reshoot window to ask for money. That is all. Most everyone, including the director did them for free. This is not a man vs woman argument in this particular case. This is a totally dishonest conversation that she has put forth. The person/people she should be mad at is her agent/agency who also represent Mark and didn’t give her a heads up. He obviously could have ask for the money after she had signed on for free. Who knows.
ReplyOne chose to demand more money and the other did not. This is literally a non-issue. I don’t know how common it is for agencies to discuss client pay with other clients. Sounds unethical and can lead to a breach of trust. This isn’t a man vs women pay disparity issue.
Replyso due to her shyness or lack of Negotiation, she couldve gotten an equal pay same as to Mark. its all about their Agents actually. Kudos to Marks Agent!
Reply…if companies/employers can pay wemon less why hire men????….her story is her experience not ALL wemon……
ReplyI’ve never heard someone talk so much rubbish in all my life. why do people just let these ‘feminists’ get away with this. theres a reason that this absolute no name got ‘only’ EIGHTY DOLLARS AN HOUR, compared to mark whalberg, one of the most famous, highest grossing hollywood stars of all time who got paid significantly more. i mean you could list the reasons endlessly. Other than just bcos hes much more famous and will generate infinitely more box office revenue. hes not going to turn up for anything less outside of his already agreed upon contract. and nobody even knows the details of this – ridley scott didnt get paid anything either, and in fact according to him most people didnt. Ridley frickin Scott. i dont see people complaining about that. this mightve just been a legal minimum. boohoo youre not mark whalberg so you maybe didnt think at all to even try and negotiate a massive fee for returning. are we really supposed to believe that jennifer lawrence etc wouldnt have had a big salary for returning.
Lets look at mark whalbergs box office grosses in the run up to this movie in reverse order:
– daddys home 2 + $180m
– transformers TLK + $605m
– patriots day + $52m
– deepwater horizon + $121m
– daddys home + $243m
All of which he was the main or only character in. Now lets look at michele williams:
– Wonderstruck + $3m
– Certain Women + $1.5m
– Manchester by the Sea + $78m
– Suite francaise + $9.3m
– Oz the great and powerful +$490m
ALL of which except for one (suite francaise), she was not even close to being the main character in. perpetual, impossible problem to solve bcos it doesnt exist, victim complex.
Chris Pratt got paid $8 million less than Jennifer Lawrence for ‘Passengers’, and this was after GOTG and Jurassic World. Frankly id argue he was a MUCH bigger star than her then. She certainly wasnt significantly bigger than him. She’d been in one big franchise and that was it, and that ended years and years prior. Just as another random example.
ReplyI really love helena. she is so cool
ReplyEw. 18 grandchildren. No, Michelle, dont do it.
ReplyMichelle Williams is amazing! And she is one of the best actress out there. I hope she will get her Deserved Oscar someday. She is so talented!!!
ReplySo stunning and brave
ReplyBlah blah blah
ReplyThere are so many sexist men idolising Mark below. Get over yourselves. Michelle is awesome.
ReplyDo her kids know she expects to have 18 grandchildren sitting around her rocking chair?
ReplyThe discrepancy between male and female actors is not only shocking but deplorable. I commend Michelle on feeling so moved to stand up and speak her truth.
