What’s weird is I think there’s a portion of the right-wing that “get” this, but if it comes from a liberal-source they immediately “debunk” it. But if Fox (which runs business this way) points out a piece of it like “buying politicians” then the right-wing is right back on it…
For the average person it’s like playing monopoly where you start out with half the money, end up with 3 random low value properties and everyone else has a set with hotels on them. There is no way to generate money, and no way to break the monopoly…you roll the dice and then you die.
They forgot to mention the thing about telling people finding a job that the market deems more valuable as the solution to their increasing debt. They also forgot to mention how politicians actually hold board seats on these companies and get large bonuses when they help push through legislation that benefits the company.
