Even though Donald Trump has been banned from Twitter since January, his lies about election fraud continue to spread faster than a “covfefe” tweet. And once again, the Black voting community is suffering the consequences. Part 1 of 2.

So filibuster only exists in US Senate but not in state Senates? Texas Democrats can’t just say “no we don’t feel like voting on this” they have to actually leave the building?

Out of all the jobs in the world if one whole group had to die and I had to pick I’d without a doubt choose the actors to be executed. It’s the only job on earth that’s not essential that there ever was.

Why is it that republicans hate progress? Do they understand what “future” means? Republicans also cost us massive amounts of wasted taxpayer money, as well as wasted time!

What possible justification can there be for making it illegal to pass out food and water to people in line? How does that stop “dead people from voting” or whatever their BS excuse is? They clearly just want people to give up and not vote.

Wouldn’t it be so much easier to, I don’t know, just nominate candidates with broader appeal?

Note how the Dems are doing _nothing_ to protect democracy and punish the traitors. The high level insurrectionists are being left entirely alone and the small fry, mostly released on bail. Flynn basically held an insurrection con last weekend. #PelosiComplicit

Voting is a RIGHT! Maybe every ballot should be a gun so these pricks stop pretending their voter suppression bills are about election integrity and protect people’s right to vote.

I still can’t fathom how US democracy works. They sold the product, but don’t believe benefit. When I heard they need wait like 7-12 hours to vote, it’s unbelievable. In my country, the longest wait to vote, it’s 30 minute, and we are in the top 5 most populate countries in the world.

While the insanity & cowardice is evident in the GOP, the insanity & cowardice of Democrats needs to be addressed as well. Why are Congressional Dems avoiding defining what constitutes a Domestic Terrorist Organization & the consequences of membership? Wouldn’t enabling (and inciting) sedition, insurrection & treason, as well as expressed dedication to destroying democracy in favor of a dictatorship & authoritarianism qualify as worthy of expulsion from politics, elections & governing?

How can it be harder to get mail in ballots in Texas? It’s already next to impossible to get one, and in 2020 Abbott made it so that there was only one drop box in every county, even though counties like Harris are absolutely massive. Was that not hard enough? Texas was still to much of a purple state in 2020?

It’s *incredible* that a state could even *propose* a law making it illegal to hand food and water to other people. How was that not *immediately* struck down as unconstitutional?

Read “WHITES ONLY” on the ballot boxes. Takes all day to vote in person, but you can’t get the day off.

On my first trip to New York, I had a day off, and I thought I would tour the recently constructed “Trump Tower”. I was appalled. It looked like poor people trying to live like rich people live – all brass to made to look like gold. I though, “oh, this is just tacky” and some well-known stars agreed with my estimation later. Hoo boy, the Donald is what we call “a piece of work”.

For the Primary, I missed it since they didn’t think to realise that that the nearby voting place was moved. Luckily, I like early voting, so I can go to Early Voting locations in the main voting. I am still not used to US voting – they keep signs up for MONTHS, and don’t have just six weeks to do it, like on the Pat Bay Highway on Vancouver Island – a mostly freeway-grade road where all sides put up voting signs for short time, and then take them down (“the Endless Signs”). And now Dear Donald thinks he will come back into office by August. What a silly, irration boy-man he is…

Republicans exploit the fear of the fabricated “Replacement Theory.” Many white people are petrified of the thought of the increase in birth rates of brown & black peoples & the decrease in birth rates of white babies. The “other” should never be allowed to gain any power or even share power. Furthermore the GOP control 30 state legislatures & there is no stopping them unless the Dems swarm the polls. I’m mean we need to turn out 3 x MORE VOTERS than the GOP in national, state & local elections. We need to send the message that no matter how difficult the GOP makes it to vote it won’t stop us!
