Emmy and Oscar-winning actor Regina King makes her directorial debut with the new film “One Night In Miami” about an imagined night out on the town shared by Muhammad Ali, Malcolm X, Sam Cooke, and Jim Brown. King took care to honor their legacy by letting these characters be vulnerable and by showing the power that comes from that vulnerability. #Colbert #OneNightInMiami #ReginaKing

My boyfriend is dumb. You wanna know how dumb he is? It takes him an hour and a half to watch 60 Minutes.

First off, hat’s and everything else off to Regina King! What a great movie, casting, script and clearly directing. I was so impressed! I was not familiar with the events of that particular night and I spent the whole movie, as a nervous wreck. I kept thinking anytime either Malcolm X or Sam Cooke were going to be shot at any moment. The film did a beautiful job of bringing those incredible icons to life, while showing their humanity. Go Regina!
