I actually genuinely don’t like songs about heartbreak or country, but I guess I might enjoy edited country…

I once heard a mixtape song by Lil Wayne from the radio once. The last 20 seconds of the song sounded like a super redacted CIA document lol. Just end the song earlier for the clean version.

If you need to listen to the “clean version” of a song it’s probably not for you to begin with.

What has that 💩 music done to benefit anybody? Helped the African American in which way ? Its pure nonsesene. And has allowed people to act in ways that are untrue from their real experiences

Definitely ready for the strike to end! The WGA and SAG are saying if you want to show support for the writers and actors on strike, you should spread awareness on social media, follow strike rules (no scabbing), and donate to the entertainment community fund. Solidarity! #WGAstrong

I don’t really understand the aversion to _profanity_ in hip hop. I mean you _can’t_ still be operating under the impression that, by this act of censorship, you hope to prevent anyone from _hearing_ these words and _knowing_ them. They’re _everywhere_ and people use them because their _useful._
What _I_ take umbrage to, though, in hip hop, is the bad _grammar._ I mean, you’ve got catchy _lyrics_ in hip hop that people (including kids) tend to _recite._ By this act, they learn the grammatic _tendencies_ of hip hop which are improper _tendencies._
There’s a group of people in the world who want to prevent hip hop from using _profanity_ because they think it detracts from _intellectual_ development. Study after study actually shows it doesn’t, but grammar is part of _language._ You teach kids to use the wrong grammar, that quite _clearly_ detracts from their intellectual development.

I guess they like the beat? I mean, I like the beat but not the stories, so I know I don’t really like hip-hop.
