Reply#UnhappyCamper – I was charged for reckless driving and disturbing the peace for giving kids a 15mph ride while singing. And the attorney who cheated me when I was almost killed by that town’s 20-ton sander truck (also getting a $500 referral fee I had to pay, not the damn attorney who made straight cream for doing nothing but help the evil town and not even administer my rights) charged me another $500 because “it felt right’ rather than have the feloneius charges removed!
ReplyAt 2:52 Jimmy mentions a boy who fell asleep in class which I can relate to, as I fell asleep next to a wall heater on a really cold day and the science teacher let me sleep and ushered out my classmates and and ushered in the next class. At about 5 minutes into the next class I woke up and realized I was not seeing anyone I knew. Everyone was laughing and they started calling me sleeping beauty, I don’t know about the beauty part as I still believe I could break cameras and mirrors, but it took me a long time to live that one down.

ReplyWhen I taught middle school I had a kid fall asleep in class and I turned back the clock and got all of my students in the hallway… I don’t know the person who tweeted that, but I totally did it to a class of 6th graders.

ReplyA teacher at my school had a rather unusual and loud way to celebrating student’s birthdays. She would step onto a chair then onto a desk and do a dance while singing the birthday song! I was reading the newspaper in the library once, and she started doing that and I was banging my head on the table like “why is this happening to me?!” She was my homeroom teacher for the whole of 2008!
