Oh hey there’s a man who worked really hard in his life, experienced a lot of adversity, but never blamed anyone else for his circumstances. Any successful person could stand to learn something from the humility of Hank Aaron.

I’d like to think he’s playing baseball with Babe Ruth and all of the other greats in a real field of dreams.

Wow! Good thing the U.S. has moved on from racism, and White privilege…if only the people back then could time travel to see all the progress society has made, especially in White rural areas.

I liked Conan’s reaction to whether Hank thinks thing would be different if he beat the record during the 90s. It’s clearly not the answer he wanted and it made him kinda uncomfortable but he respected Hank’s honesty and that’s something to appreciate in a host.

I beat when that guy ran behind him coming around third base he and everyone watching probably thought the worse and we’re gasping until they realized that he was a fan just running up to congratulate him for his huge achievement
