ReplyNeil Young once had Polio (you know that thing that was cured by vaccines), most likely the reason he feels so strongly about leaving. Not only is Young leaving because of misinformation but the terrible royalties (although the biggest music streaming service, Spotify pays terribly) and support of military industrial complex by Spotify’s CEO. Young also has better albums than Fox News’ favorite rockstar, Ted Nugent. Harvest, Everybody Knows This is Nowhere, On The Beach, After The Gold Rush; all landmark rock albums of the 70s. If these are albums from a has-been then I guess being a has-been is a good thing. Nugent doesn’t have anything, he never had anything lol. This Gutfeld guy seems to fall into Nugent territory too, Neil Young is still a well-known name but will Gutfeld be remembered in 5 years? No

Neal , Joni, I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt for what motivates you, but it saddens me to see old revolutionaries turned into cheerleaders for tyranny. Can’t you see that silencing alternate voices is the equivalent of book burning? The torch has been passed to Canadian truckers, French yellow vests and the greatest hero of our age, Julian Assange.
ReplyI disagree with what Neil Young did and especially how he did it. If he removed his music that is one thing but to try and give an ultimatum was attempted political blackmail.
ReplyHowever, the right always claims this is what the left do but Trump constantly called for boycotts of various companies. We see the right running for election on banning books and bullying teachers.
We are even seeing book burnings from the right this week.
How about everyone put down the pitchforks, take a step back and try intelligent debate so the best ideas win the day or a least let people hear and decide for themselves.
Warner brothers owns most of the rights to young’s songs so I don’t know how their not sueing him..?
