That was beautifully said! It is hard to find humor during these dark days. I, too, would have liked to hear the stories of those who were killed. It’s unconscionable and inhumane. People have got to stay informed and go out and vote in all the elections. I have also been emailing my Congresspeople on a regular basis pleading with them to make reforms. It is so easy and takes moments to do. My condolences to you for your aunt. Sounds like she was a great lady.

Everyone’s acting like the cops just pulled up and shot this man for no reason dude had a criminal record of trespassing disorderly conduct and 3rd degree sexually assault and after he resisted arrest and casually walked to his vehicle the cops were suppose to just wait patiently for him to do what he had to do? He could’ve avoided this situation pretty easily all he needed was a little common sense evidently he didn’t have any of it

I want to make it very clear here, that I have nothing against the American Police. I am from Brazil, but I respect human rights with all my soul. And when we talk about human rights, the world becomes a place where the word “frontier” has no meaning. In other words, human rights are for everyone. It’s time for a change! Today’s world does not tolerate deviations, especially when they reach the principles of conquered Human Rights. Enough! Now, it’s time for the American Police to be indicted. And perhaps the quickest and most effective way to bring about change and make this killing of blacks in the United States stop, in fact, is to cut corporate wages. Thus, whenever a police officer commits a crime using disproportionate force, then, the entire corporation should have a salary reduction, starting with the chief boss. The length of this penalty would be dictated by a local judge.

The man (Blake) and his mother, admitted he was going for a knife. White people aren’t against you. Police are against criminals. When are you guys going to take a stand for the victims of Blake and Floyd? When!!! The second man, should not have been open carrying at age 17 but he was attacked by armed thugs.
You are too stupid to understand what defunding the police would mean

The police are not GOD to decide who dies and who lives especially when the person is unarmed

Much appreciated, the insight and personal words of wisdom. I have high blood pressure, CAD and a little more but I won’t step back from watching or reading the unbelievable moments that are happening real time in front of our eyes. That said, white, mid sixties, mid west born and can’t say “I know what you mean, relative to experience”. But I will say it’s unfricking believable. From these experiences that have been so widely instigated/exposed from top down, will come change as you say from”bottom up”. Not just this election but every elevation forward. Thanks

I appreciate you and all you expressed except for one thing. I know we are all on the edge but, even though the GOP drives me crazy, we must listen to the other side so we really know what we are voting against. You can’t make a good choice or defence of it without knowledge. Please accept my condolences of the loss of your aunt. Teachers work with their hands cuffed behind their backs. Why on their salary should they be buying supplies for the classroom out of their pockets. Disrespectful.
