Seth takes a closer look at Republicans, the gun lobby and Fox News once again lying and making ridiculous excuses for why they oppose wildly popular gun safety measures after two horrific shootings in the span of less than a week.

Oh for crying out loud, confiscate all the guns, destroy them…. problem solved! What is wrong with your country???
ReplyPoliticians collect money from the NRA and other gun lobbiests, sit back and watch the theater!😉
ReplyAccording to Look Around You Germs actually do come from Germany.
ReplyOh by the way , I voted for Joe , but only for my pre existing health care . I think the man is out of touch with reality on everything else .
ReplyThe only problem with the wording of the 2nd ammendment is that if the militia is regulated by the state, the state and fed government has become too corrupt to trust to be seperate and within their peoples best interest.
ReplyWe here in Louisiana would like to apologize to the nation for Sen. Kennedy.
ReplyTrump did NOT tell anyone to inject bleach into their bodies! That is just WRONG and misleading reporting. That was a false story perpetrated by CNN. It was proven that it was a fake story.
ReplyOh I agree with him we do need more idiot control let’s get rid of the Republican party all together and that problem will be solved that’s the easiest solution I’ve ever heard of
ReplyFun project: send a black man and a white man into a gun show and see how many guns each can get.
Reply“This ridiculous theater…”
You mean a pro-life party that doesn’t give a damn about mass shootings? Then again, the GOP screams how Blue Lives Matter but doesn’t want to respect the cops who defended the Capitol? Loves the troops and slashes veteran spending AND supplies to active troops? Consistency is all we ask…
ReplyThis why America is the great because of worthless government And we need campaign reforms has much chance that are gun control because are worthless politicians are long sold by the corporation that makes a low by the corporations are in charge of the government for the government. They should use some see money for campaign donations to get corporations out of buying politicians like they are a dunce . The constitution says we the people now we the corporations that we should not be going to a grocery store and looking on the shelf had something that a loud bang goes off that you end up getting shot . Our real government will tell corporations you play by these rules for you get locked out like anybody else .

ReplyAt least he didn’t have toilet paper stuck to his shoe.
Reply“Wildly popular gun safety measures” lmao
ReplyIf we were teaching our kids gun safety, instead of letting Hollywood teach them gun violence, we wouldn’t be where we are today.
The only way Republicans would change their mind on gun control is if somebody shot at them, and even then it might not work because they could argue that we even need more guns.
ReplyWell regulated refers to properly outfitted, thus the phrase British Regulars. The founders also never anticipated social media when they wrote the first amendment, but we brook no suggestions that it also be adapted.
ReplyThe US has been fighting, debating and tripping over their 2nd Amendment since 1791 (at a time when the world knew only muskets and flintlock pistols., swords, and cannons.) In the last 230 years the US has since developed into a warmongering country and are convinced the 2nd Amendment includes nuclear weapons. The US have paddled so far up sh*t creek they’ve lost sight of land and any of it’s people. The last four years have basically sealed their fate. The chances of the US ever recovering are next to none and the country will implode.
Reply“These laws won’t work”
So then why have any laws? Since they don’t work anyway. Give me a break. Ted Cruz and the rest of the GOP are killing the country
ReplyJoe says carry a shot gun , shot gun full of buck shot you can kill multiple targets every shot .
ReplyYou guys just want to ban guns .
ReplyI hear they are gonna change the name of his show to The Trump Hour.
ReplySomeone needs to do something about Ted Cruz
ReplyIt’s my understanding that many people are dying from heroin overdoses. Why don’t they just ban the sale of that?
ReplySo ban all weapons that aren’t bolt or pump action? 🤔
Replyno guns no free speech. you must goose step
Replyjoe sounding like Hitler about now
ReplyWow, who knew that Trump would have said something I full heartedly agree with
ReplyPeople die every year by car wrecks , BAN ALL CARS!!!!!!!!!!! GET THEM OFF THE ROAD NOW !!!!!!!!
ReplyAmerica should take the idiot control…and ban Fox News & NRA with it
ReplyNotice ciggs are still killing people , but it’s ok , the government makes enough money off of em
ReplyProblem go the FOX News Hannity YT and look at the comments, people losing there mind Theyre gonna take my guns, over my dead body blah blah I mean 4% pop. 40% of the civilian guns WTF? We could take HALF (which NO ONE is proposing mind you) and the proportions are still insane
ReplyCiggs have killed way more people in America than guns
ReplyHe broke his foot not long ago so his foot might be weak.
ReplyBut the government be like , HEY STFU THAT’S OUR MONEY
ReplyTwo idiots who have nothing to say but somehow imagine they have an audience.
ReplyThose two behemoths with the rifles over their shoulders is the most American thing I’ve seen this month
ReplyLiar 🤥 trumptsrds
ReplyIt’s pretty ironic that “Donny Due Process” was advocating taking guns away WITHOUT a court order! Obama didn’t take ANY guns away. Biden has never advocated government action against American citizens without FIRST “doing due process”. Don’t ya just wonder what his supporters think when they hear that?! Oh yeah, I forgot. They make it up as they go along. They’ll excuse him for threatening their gun rights while blaming Democrats for….what? What’s the real issue here? The ONLY reason to have a gun that can quickly fire multiple rounds is to shoot lots of people at once. Nobody deer hunts like that. Trust me, I grew up in the country surrounded by rifles and shotguns in our home. No one needs a semi automatic weapon except to kill people. The ones who get the right to do THAT sort of thing are members of a well regulated militia-our military. Especially our National Guard. Even then, the 2nd Amendment says WELL REGULATED. So let’s have some regulation of guns and keep due process alive and well.
ReplyPlease! Please! Please! Have me on your show to defeat these fools on gun control and destroy these morons on weapons of war! I’ll beat Cruz and his sycophantic tools into a pulp!
ReplyTHIS WILL BE A BEAUTIFUL WORLD FREE OF REPUBLICANS
Reply“Idiot control” haha, almost spat my coffee over the table. Bloody right wing tosser.
ReplyGreenland actually did use to be much greener with trees and agriculture between 800 – 1500 AD.
ReplyI love your great show
ReplyI hate hannicrap
ReplyI wish conservatives defended the right to vote with the same intensity as they do with the 2nd Amendment
ReplyThere’s a Deborah in the Old Testament.
ReplyDon’t forget that when republicans say they’re against something, they’re actually totally for it if they get to use it against people they don’t like. Just like they’re against “cancel culture” unless the Dixie Chicks speak out against Dubya, they’re opposed to gun control – except for example when Ronald Regan enacted some seriously strict gun control when the Black Panther Party scared white conservative Californians by arming themselves.
ReplyOmfg… Seths impersonating a psycho-gun-crazed man with a room full of guns “nobody’s going anywhere”……
Reply😂
It’s pronounced “cod-a-fied” not code-a-fied
ReplyWhen the constitution was signed people still used flintlock muskets, not semi-automatic hand cannons and fully automatic machine guns. The gun laws in America are draconian and should be revised immediately. How many more people have to die before something gets done about it?
ReplyThe thing about large groups of people with guns like America is that someone is going to come along who’s tired of being shot at and shoot back. And the problem is Americans need automated guns because they couldn’t hit the broadside of a barn from their fatass in the easy chair.
ReplyThere’s a Deborah in the Bible Seth. In the OLD Testament even. smdh.
ReplyWhat an embarrassment to the Kennedy name.
ReplyBad times make strong people. Strong people make good times. Good times make weak people. Weak people make bad times.
Bad times make weak people beg strong people to keep them safe. Good times make weak people forget the bad times.
ReplyIf we try to keep idiot control we will have no republican senators… great idea !
ReplyHow about demanding gun owners to pass a gun safety and mental health test and proving a need to purpose before buying a gun?
ReplyThe party that wants making buying a gun easy is the same one that wants to make voting harder.
ReplyImagine if it were as easy in America to get mental health care as it was to buy an AK-47…..
ReplyLiberal news reports NOTHING about the problems law enforcement has with individuals owning weapons that shouldn’t qualify for one due to mental issues or past charges. Getting rid of AR15’s will simply mean that bad guys will load up another weapon! The problem is with the individual buying the gun NOT the gun! Wake the heck up people! Take ownership for your crap!
Replyif he want’s idiot control he should lead by example and self-incarcerate
ReplySeth lectures us all about having guns and how we should take them all away, but Seth has armed security…. must be nice in those ivory towers not all of us are millionaires, Seth has no clue what real life is for the 90% of us…
ReplyCan we all just stay in our homes forever, their wasnt a single mass shooting last year during the hight of covid.

ReplyFake news and the KKKriminal republikkkans are at it again sitting on their hands Letting inocent people getting killed
ReplySeth, ever wonder why liberal media talks about race all the time? The democrat party did start the KKK……narrative based reporting…… race blaming…… white priviledge…… and the problems never get fixed…… Tragic. Sadly, the lowest income people only get liberal run TV stations free. Liberal teachers unions sue to stay out of school with full pay but it’s “all about the kids”….. but we’ll let our border states suffer with known covid cases running into our country from Mexico. No penalties, no wall, no exportations……don’t worry liberals will just put another check on the backs of working Americans to pay for it……yeah, it’s good to be in the United States of Empathy

ReplyFalon returned to the studio recently. Doesn’t work. It wont feel as wholesome if you do the same. Face it Seth, you’re a youtuber now.
ReplyI have a hard time listening to someone who uses a bookshelf to store more guns than books. Maybe if you had more books than guns you might not be a total airhead ammosexual.
ReplyThanks for calling out Sen. Kennedy’s corny HeeHaw routine.
ReplyUgh Ted, can you just shut up!
ReplyBoulder prick had an assault charge in 2018. Federally he should have been barred from passing the background check if the current laws were actually enforced.
ReplyHere’s a thought… who glorifies gun and gun violence more than the NRA? You got it… Hollywood…. movies and TV. Just about every popular movie and tv show has gun violence and if you don’t think that influences people, along with NRA and 2nd amendment BS spread by gun nuts, you’re kidding yourself. If Hollywood is so LIBERAL, why do they have such a long and well documented history of producing pro-gun mentalities and glorifying gun use and gun violence? Not that the 2nd amendment isn’t a fraud and that the NRA has played on that fraud… but Hollywood is certainly partially to blame for the glorification of gun ownership and use.
ReplyTed cruz defends gun lobbyists more than he does his own wife.
ReplyTo be fair, we *do* have regulated militias. They developed to later become the National Guard.
ReplySomeone remind me, has the NRA gotten around to registering as a Moscow-based foreign interest group yet?
ReplyNew York, DC, California, and Illinois have the strictest gun laws in the US yet they have extremely high crime rates. How about stiffer penalties on criminals and better quality background checks?
ReplyCivilians should be able to own just as powerful guns as the military has. The constitution was pretty much based off the bad things that happened during the war when it comes to the Second Amendment. People shouldn’t have to let military people stay in their house and they should be able to have just the equal gun power as someone in the military. I find it interesting, Does the Midwest has the least amount of gun violence dinner coastal areas but we have all the freaking guns. So we shouldn’t be punished because New Yorkers and huge cities are going around killing each other.
ReplyUSA is changed forever. This is not the country of opportunities anymore. It is a deeply divided nation where politicians promote to not follow laws or common citizenship and sense (Governor of Florida comes to mind). People out of control; they claim racism (black peoples of BLM movement) but can’t follow rules (massless wild partying in Florida). And all these mass shootings and the ridiculous defense of a ridiculous Second Amendment. It is sad. It is a bellicose nation built on a civil war. A nation that made a con man president; a nation that has 50% of it’s lawmakers still promoting a con man.
ReplySeth, it’s a subject that many cannot understand unless other examples are used. Because plain language doesn’t penetrate into the brain cells. It’s also a possibility that it is impossible to accomplish this feat. Bottom line, is an example of explosives such as sticks of dynamite were legal in the 50s and 60s and before for general purpose reasons. Which include hard digging in the ground for a plant for instance or a foundation. Maybe a clogged sewer line etc. It didn’t matter, a signature may have been required, I don’t remember, I do know my dad was a foreman for a big county road department, and if they had roads cutting through rock, they’d blast it. My dad liked to bend the procedures some by how much cover he’d put over the charges. He’d like to load them close to the top of the drilled holes instead of using 15 ft of cover dirt. He’d like the shot to make a display of power shooting out of the hole and the sound. The gun regulation shouldn’t bother the republicans when it deals with weapons that can do a huge amount of damage. Assault rifles are one. We see that. And the government also seen the potential problems with the TNT. So they regulated that out of the hands of the public. Just think if it still was available today? So when explaining to those hard of hearing or hard of understanding. Compare the dynamite thing. If they still can’t get it. Forget it. Not focusing on all guns for control. Just the ridiculously deadly ones that can fire repeatedly, while being long range with accuracy. Our society has done some real stupid things, like building internal combustion engines, putting them into 3000 lb automobiles that don’t have seat belts, can go 100+mph in opposite directions of other trucks, cars etc separated by a 4inch white line, on streets paved in oil created asphalt with telephone poles spaced along the shoulder in such a rate that when a collision has occurred 97% of the time you’re going to hit one, not to mention the residential homes just along the side of these roads. Now not even counting the liquor stores on every corner for a little cool adult beverage to sip on while driving. You see there was some way wrong with that plan and nobody said “hey, wait a little bit and let’s really think about this for a minute.” The dollars being raked in were more important than all of human life. The little space of atmosphere that makes all of life in this huge universe even possible is really too small to gamble with by so much exhaust that occurs from 1 motor or anything. Yet, we figured it was ok. Like Pharmaceutical developments, even anti biotics. It’s possible we were meant to exist together in life by natural dying of bacteria infections forever. But we outsmarted nature and have way to many people living too long. And if that’s the course of natural also, then we were here only to accelerate the earths timeline to get out of it’s hibernation cold state, and we did a good job of it.
ReplyOver a hundred people a day die in car accidents and even though the government has complete control over who can drive or own a car they do nothing to prevent these deaths! They don’t care about the lives of people they just want to get the guns, so they can take all our freedoms away without the risk of an armed rebellion!
ReplyAny serious gun owner doesnt want anyone to know that he possesses a firearm. Those who arent looking for trouble dont even want you to know that they are carrying.
ReplyCruz is practicing the Trump ‘If I narrow my eyes they’ll all think I’m confident and sincere and not at all constipated’ look. Failing miserably though, he still just looks like the smarmy got he is 😐
ReplyI really wish Democrats would stop trying to simplify the idea of banning weapons at large, and rather encourage methods to help and focus on mental illness at large, as well as place methods to prevent the wrong people from acquiring weapons. We don’t have to go against our own amendments to achieve a peace. We severely lack importance on good social health practices and facilities. There are other countries that do have firearms, and no mass murders. We’re a country founded on the vague idea that it can trust it’s own people. The second amendment also allows our citizens to experiment with firearm construction, and in turn could help our military innovate new ideas. If we redirect the issue to focusing on how mentally ill people acquire firearms, and focus on fixing that problem, then Republicans have that much less rational ground in politics, and their whines about the second amendment is flawed. Also, if Seth put some time in reading about military history, he would be aware that our founding fathers are knowledgeable about advancing weapon technologies. For example, read about Thomas Jefferson giving Lewis and Clark a Girardoni air rifle for their expedition West.
ReplyWhen Snowflakes believe edited video!!!! Karen’s and their tantrum’s ensue!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣
ReplyAlmost all guns are semi-automatic, so a ban on semi-autos is a de facto gun ban. This ignorance is one reason why people think the government is coming for their guns. You are literally saying exactly that and you’re too uninformed to realize it.
ReplyYou need to get it right the second amendment protects us from the psychos who commit the gun violence the guns don’t kill people by themselves we don’t have robot guns.
ReplyDear Mr. President
ReplyThe majority of all shootings, including mass shootings are done with handguns. Rifles of any kind, including AR-15s are responsible for only a fraction of the total number of gun homicides in the United States. In 2019, 364 homicides were committed with rifles of any kind. Of those 364 homicides 32 were justifiable homicides. So, in 2019 there were 332 homicides committed with rifles out of the total 10,258 firearm homicides. So, what will a ban on AR-15 rifles accomplish? At best it will reduce the number of gun deaths in the United States by 3%. Congratulations, you have accomplished next to nothing. And you will likely not decrease the number of gun deaths by even 3%. Why? Well, there are already 20 million AR-15 rifles in circulation in the United States. No ban will include banning AR-15s that are already in circulation. It just won’t happen and you know it. The idea that the government is going to force a mandatory buyback of AR-15 rifles is unrealistic. It will never happen. The best you will get is a ban on the production and transfer of such weapons and by transfer, I mean the sale of AR-15 rifles including sales between private parties. The problem with a ban on the sale of AR-15s between private parties is there is no way to enforce it without the government attempting to force gun owners to register those firearms with the government, and a gun registry is not going to happen and you know it. So, now what? Let’s go as far as to assume you succeed in passing a ban on the production of AR-15 rifles that does next to nothing in reducing firearm homicides. What is the next step? Am I being unreasonable to think that the next idea will be a ban on handguns? They are after all, responsible for the overwhelming majority of gun homicides. This is the slippery slope so many gun owners are rightfully concerned about. You, being the president should also understand that as antiquated as the anti-gun movement believes the Second Amendment is, it is as relevant today as it was in 1791. The Second Amendment ensures that the federal government does not have a monopoly on power. The Second Amendment ensures that government of the people, by the people, for the people remains just that. It is that simple. I would kindly ask that you give very serious thought to our rights guaranteed under the Bill of Rights. Once you give them away, we will never get them back. Here’s an idea. If you really want to reduce gun deaths why don’t you consider another option that might actually work? Why don’t you work towards increasing access to mental healthcare? Almost no health insurance plans cover mental health. Access to mental healthcare may be an alternative that could really work.
They both look like they got high before this segment.
ReplyNo ban on semiautomatic weapons. I am Dem Left and believe we need better gun control….but not ban on semi auto firearms. This law could never be enforced as there are trillions of dollars worth of semi automatic weapons in the for of pistols rifles and shotguns. So this ban would mean one of 2 things: Confiscation of trillions of dollars worth of legally purchased firearms, or a buyback system based on each firearms value, hench trillions of dollars worth of weapons being illegally confiscated and paid for by the citizenry. An old but true statement….guns don’t kill people, people kill people.
ReplyWell America did Put Japanese Citiziens in america In War camps Even if they where born in america
ReplyWe are forced to buy car insurance to protect ourselves and other people financially. So when a legal owner of a gun kills or hurts other people they should at least have a way to financially protect others.

Automatic and semi automatic guns are not meant for self defense, they are meant for war. Yes they should be banned at least banned except for war.

ReplyTed Cruz is _kinda_ , _sorta_ right… every time theres a mass shooting, it IS a ridiculous theatre.. but what he omits to mention is that it`s only ridiculous, BECAUSE of all the lame ass excuses, and the batshit crazy mental gymnastics, that gun lovers regularly trot out in defence of doing nothing…
..and just accepting all the mass shootings and deaths.
There`s nothing ridiculous about wanting to reduce the number of deaths.
Reply& There`s nothing BUT ridiculous excuses from the right preventing it.
LEOs are in favor of gun control like universal background checks, gun registration, and stricter requirements for carry permits.
We do NOT need to outlaw semiautomatic guns. We just need to ban the equipment to modify them into fully auto, limit magazine capacity, and up the age to purchase semi-auto rifles to 21 (as already is for handguns).
ReplyHow about banning cigarettes, they kill more people than guns.
ReplyAmericans don’t have to worry about terrorists or immigrants they have to worry about their own citizens. You are more likely to be killed by one of your own than by the previous mentioned groups.
ReplyEdit: Seth is right, we haven’t had a mass shooting in 30 years. America has on average one a day.
Seth, you are a democrat shill and there’s no respect I give to shills of either party.
ReplyYes, we need more idiot control. The first thing to do to control idiots is to make it harder for an idiot to get a gun.

ReplyPeople need to push back against Cruz’s and the larger right-wing argument that gun regulations would not decrease gun violence. There is overwhelming evidence to the contrary provided by other countries regulations and their gun violence statistics compared to that of the United States. Their point is pure speculation and fear-mongering that sensible regulation will lead to a total firearm ban for civilians.
ReplyThe GOP is quick and efficient when acting to change voter legislation but when it comes to gun control all I hear is crickets.
ReplyYou need a license to drive a car but you don’t need a license to own and operate a firearm. THAT is ridiculous. Owning a firearm should be a privilege NOT a right.
ReplyAustralia gave the guns back. They just have more regulations. Which is a real solution. Also news flash they have assault weapons there. Also, your deal about the cars currently exists. Buy a gun you’ll see that s true.

ReplyOK…Seth look at the gun control laws in Chicago and then look at the increasing rates of violence and gun deaths. Chicago is one big mass shooing. You think it might mean that gun control only takes away the rights of law-biding citizens. Criminals don’t care what gun control laws you pass. Sorry to bring facts into the argument. Seth, you are no longer funny, but you are a true leftist snowflake.

ReplyOh, wow, the stair stumble such news making, not for mass shooting- wow, yeah, trying to make the country safer with common sense changes are really “crazy”. Also the 2nd. Amendment says nothing about individual ownership (talks about establishing a militia) nor does it says no laws regulating it can be enacted. Yeah, you want a weapon , then you can have a single shot musket like the Founding Fathers had. Rapid repeat rifles didn’t happen until the Civil War.
ReplyHey Ted, lets try the laws and see if they work because you can’t say they wouldn’t since you have no evidence of it not working. I have said treat it like getting a license, plus they have to carry special insurance, and oh, there is legislation for people who get DUIs. Idiot control would ruin the GOP.

ReplyActually the first machine gun was patented when the constitution was written
ReplyWhy can’t these stupid republicans come up with a better argument? Stronger gun regulation doesn’t mean getting rid of ALL guns or taking away guns from responsible gun owners. It means making it harder for people who shouldn’t have guns from getting their hands on them. If they are a law abiding responsible gun owner then it shouldn’t effect them at all whatsoever. Are these people upset about it cause they are criminals? Right now there are basically NO regulations. So putting restrictions on them could mean barely ANYTHING. Just do SOMETHING. They would rather make it harder to vote than harder for it to buy a gun.
ReplyMy gawd is there a more HORRIBLE…sight? Hannity annnddd Cruz? on the same show? Well there goes lunch…and supper…and the next day’s breakfast, just that brief clip…I may never eat again. Uggghhh Hannity aaannndd Cruz, I CAN’T unsee it.
ReplyChicago and Detroit are prime examples of what tight gun control can do for you, absolutely nothing. Because criminals don’t follow laws, that’s why they are called criminals.
ReplyToo bad one of the mass shootings doesn’t happen to the republicans, like Ted Cruz, Matt Gaetz, Mitch Mcconnell, Lindsay Graham, and their ilk that are so against any gun control. Wonder how quick they would change their tune? Although I’m sure it’s not likely as they would just find something else to blame for the cause of death rather than the guns (i.e. mental health, different race, not strong enough family values, etc.)
ReplyThe title says “a closer look”, I was assuming Seth was talking about a closer look at the facts of new gun law proposals. Nope, it was a closer look at how ugly Ted Cruz is and how one senator used a bad analogy about drunk driving? What a let down. Nothing about actual facts or crime stats.
ReplyI can’t wait for Fox to be slammed with over a billion for the rubbish they spew.Hopefully they will eventually be taken off the air.
ReplyThat is excellent. One point is that the guns were not confiscated in Australia, some types of guns were banned and compulsorily bought back by the government and destroyed. And it was a conservative government that did this in response to a mass murder of 35 people. The US politicians who oppose gun control make Australian politicians look smart.

ReplyAmerica has an unhealthy relationship with gun violence staring with westerns to violent computer games where killing is rewarded with points.
ReplyAs an outsider looking in, can the Supreme Court not revisit its original decision?
ReplyThis was really informative, however. When did Seth Meyers get so unfunny? I remember skits of him back in the day and he was hilarious. Like.. what happened?
ReplyFind the hypocrisy when Trump himself infringed on the 2nd amendment after his bump stock ban. Of course his cult will forever support him.
ReplyCrazy to think if only England would have banned guns…. there wouldn’t be a USA Today… fun fact… when purchasing a firearm you have to undergo an FBI background check. As well as completely fill out a form stating your identity, place of residence, as well as your Social Number. Not to mention if there’s a ban, it will begin the fall of of freedom. The first order of action Hitler inacted was a ban on guns before starting WWII… just an FYI, not a lot of people know this information. Have a nice day. Don’t just listen to public figures do you’re research, because people lie. A lot.
ReplyThis guy is an idiot. Maybe he can explain then why prior to 1965 and mass immigration there was almost zero gun crime and zero mass shooters.
Replyboy am i glad cocaine is so hard to get. bans really work. no way criminals would break the law

ReplyI enjoy hunting and own several rifles and shotguns but I cannot stand pro gun nuts. I’d love to involve them in coming up with a solution but if you even bring it up to them they just throw tantrums like toddlers
ReplyThis is neo-Marxism by Biden: He opens the boarder for drug cartels and disarms Americans who want to protect their families?! These are created conflicts to divide and conquer, everyone made “equal” and disarm citizens so the political ruling class elite with armed security can have total power over us “little people” who have been “equalized”. Sorry the only ones running around with guns in streets in BKLYN or Chicago killing people are those who don’t follow existing gun laws.
ReplyWow Seth Meyers is a fucking narcissist. Just like Jimmy Kimmel.
ReplyWhat would you think if an Asian country all of a sudden decided that it was “too Asian” and that it had to bring in millions of non-Asians to make itself less Asian?
ReplyWould that make any sense? And what if people who objected to this were condemned as “racists” and fired from their jobs? Could you imagine any Asian country doing that to itself?
Diversity and multiculturalism are foisted on ALL White countries and ONLY on White countries. They are codewords for White genocide.
Anti-racist is a codeword for anti-White.
filming Americans unflatteringly 101; film the people you disagree with at an upward angle from waist level to show their fat bellies and double chins. Cheap technique; just saying.
ReplyAmerican is brainwashed by gun culture
ReplyI can’t think of anyone that fits the word ‘spineless’ more than Ted Cruz. It just fits perfectly with his character.

ReplyTed Cruz was great in his childhood role of Eddie Munster. He’s been totally useless since then.
ReplyI guess the GOP thinks we should be satisfied, since they finally stopped saying, “thoughts and prayers”, which makes anyone want to claw out the eyes of whoever says that!
ReplyThe founding fathers were kind of extreme. They went into a seemingly unwinnable war over tea taxes. I don’t doubt for a second they would LOVE modern firearms, and that they would support private ownership. This doesn’t mean we don’t need gun laws, but I disagree with the notion that the founding fathers were the pinnacle of rationality and civility.
ReplyTechnically, Cruz is right to say that every time there’s a big shooting, “we” play a ridiculous theater. The theater is conservative histrionics about how we absolutely mustn’t do anything to try and reduce the incidence of shootings.

ReplyA well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.
This means there is a natural right to keep and bear arms. And the federal government shall not infringe on that right because it is the citizens who make up the militia.
It does NOT mean only members of a well regulated militia have the right to keep and carry arms.
Stop fucking lying.
no, trump, the gop and the nra are trash.
ReplyKennedy is absolutely correct. We need more idiot control in Congress but the “poorly educated,” keep voting them back in.

ReplyHey im british + resent being compared to the creepist looking guy in your politics. He looks like a rent boy hunter to me sorry its the mouth creeps me out.
ReplyRegulate guns exactly like cars, and you’ll get it right. Both are potential weapons, only one of them takes you somewhere besides jail.
ReplyAnd don’t forget the liability insurance. Windfall for the insurers, and people accidentally shot.
ReplyRepublicans have become obsolete. What is it they actually do?
ReplyUnfortunately gun control won’t solve our mass shooter problem. It’s a symptom of a much deeper problem in America.
ReplyWhile it’s true the gun ownership was for volunteers trained in a state militia, the idea was to eliminate the need of a Federal army, which the Founders saw as dangerous.
ReplySince the government has abrogated the original idea of not having a Federal army, the argument now is, our government is our most compelling threat.
Given how government condones the killing of unarmed black men, over and over, I’d say it’s a good argument.
And you lied about Biden and his son’s involvement in China.

ReplySen. Kennedy is correct OUR country does need “idiot control.” The “idiot control” should begin with the resignation of Sen. Kennedy, and Sen. Cruz from Congress.
ReplyI usually share most of the same views as you but not here, democrats from heavily populated areas seem to forget that other democrats who live in rural and areas ALL over the country, deserts, woods, long highways with no cell coverage and could be hours before you happen upon the next traveler. There’s an awful lot of democrat voters in these states that are feeling forgotten in all this.
ReplySean Hannity had a meltdown over this Seth Meyers editorial and called him names.
ReplyI actually heard that rumor too that Greenland was named because the first thing they saw was greenery. But searching online it seems it was named such to attract immigrants. Regardless it’s not a stupid thing to say, a absurd comparison to say it’s the same as saying Germany was named such because of germs. I mean Greenland does get it’s name from land and vegetation, that’s like the whole idea.
There is alot of things to criticize republicans and democrats who are much like republicans about, this isn’t one of them.
ReplyI’ve given up on American justice, there is none. And the republican senate still prevents it, and with Joe Manchin, Mcconnell maintains his power, ridiculous! and abhorant. Get rid of Manchin in the upcoming senate elections
ReplyThe problem is that gun legislation almost always serves to make the people who actually need guns — racial or sexual minorities with few means to defend themselves from cishet white men who would murder them — less able to get them. Gun rights are trans rights. Gun rights are black rights. Gun rights are human rights. Sure, make it hard for criminals to get them. Sure. Good fucking luck with that.

ReplyUmm. Ben Franklin, had children and many descendants. However, he was never married.
ReplyBeen reading some of y’all’s comments. If y’all hate guns so much why don’t y’all move to a country where there are no gun rights like Burma where the military took over the government with assault rifles and tanks and the people of Burma are protesting them with pipes and homemade bows and arrows
Reply“The left is more and more extreme”.
ReplyOhhh I forgot …is that why every mass shooting is committed by radical right wing legal gun owners?
