About an actor becoming the character with the makeup and costume, it goes the other way around too; actors who (without any costume) plays their role as a cruel person so well that the actors get personal threats; like JR from the 80’s series “Dallas”.
That was the first time I (as a Dane in Denmark) got to know the too many, but still relatively few types of the special American bread that mixes facts and fiction, that today counts more than 70 mio. Americans voters!
And it all started with JR aka Larry Hagman aka JR.

Clenn Close, in top of the many very, very talented and intelligent American actors, who in private are just as amazing and using their position to do good for others. Respect!
