There are so many of us black women out here similar to Jessica, but the world is too busy villifying us as “rachet, hood, ghetto” & “masculine”!
ReplyWhen it’s not that, then it’s being sexualized because of the way we’re naturally made – but our same curves & features are acceptable & fawned over when it’s non-black women! ?
Our spunk “so-called attitude” is given a pass, when it’s non-black women – meanwhile, we get the “angry black woman” title! ??
I’m naturally a cheerful person, & just side eye ? ppl when they trying spinning some bs into truth!
No one black woman on this planet is the same, but I know we are incredible women. We are beautiful, loving, understanding, brave, go-getters, & so much more!
I won’t say perfect, cuz no one actually walking this Earth’s surface is, & as with human beings – every last one of us has flaws.
I personally, have grown to where I can admit my flaws, but each has to come to their realization in their own time!
I say all this to say – Black Women are awesome – I love you my sisters!!!
I love my non-black sisters as well, as you are also awesome! Do we need some work? Yes – but that still doesn’t change the fact that we’re awesome! ☺️
I love this woman.
ReplyIts Zoe. Its Ikora.
ReplyJessica was the smartest person in the room? I guess this actress didn’t see her own show! Mike Ross was the smartest person in the room! ??
ReplyI hope she comes back when they revamp Firefly.
ReplyShe is absolutely stunning ?
Trevor you are my hero …you showed me how to laugh instead of anger and ….I wanted to see your show in tokyo but got sold out…??
ReplyI loved Suits and look forward to watching her new show. I’d argue with Trevor that politics isn’t emotional. It often is for the general public but it’s typically not emotional for policy makers and their staff. Those with MPP degrees approach policy as a job apply our education, logic, data, best practices and a lot of research to develop public policy. Yes, the human aspect weighs in sometimes but 90% of government policy doesn’t make front page news, isn’t controversial and doesn’t illicit strong emotion.
