Shailene Woodley is still a “thing”? I thought “discount Jennifer Lawrence”, was retired…

lol Seth Meyers hadn’t seen Notting Hill until recently, yet a Hugh Grant impression was one of the cornerstones of his SNL audition

I watched Jeopardy a couple weeks ago for the first time in many years. The level of the questions has dropped dramatically. Seemed to me they used to have harder questions on the old teen competitions where only high school kids competed. Maybe Alex Trebek was also in charge of quality control.

To counterbalance the kids saying ugly things here in the comments, I’ll say this:

I get what she means with writing letters, despite me not writing letters by hand because of my horrible handwriting. All these crippled sentences in the texting world make me go nuts – and I grew up in the online era when acronyms, abbreviations, ASCII emojis and all that stuff began to pop up. But most people still tried to form coherent sentences, even in the heat of the earliest online games. Admittedly, it degraded pretty quickly.

Today, though, when I see these mauled texts on very personal matters, it really makes me think it doesnt matter at all what they are trying to convey if they can be arsed to write it out properly. Can do that with an e-mail, but the premium class of written communication is of course the handwritten letter.

Shailene always looks so believable in her roles. She holds back nothing.

Everyone got divorced, engaged, married, and had kids. So essentially people kept living their lives during the pandemic?

Why does God never win on Jeopardy?
Although He knows all the answers,
He keeps forgetting to pose them as questions.
