ReplyClass of ’94 here. My HS had a Powerade taste testing focus group and eventually…..Powerade in vending machines. Less sugar than a soda, but not much, better flavors than Gatorade…playing sports I always prefer Gatorade…..but that is probably due to my age. Oh, in the taste test, there were carried levels of carbonation but none were like soda pop.

ReplyWell I drink both Gatorade and Powerade. Powerade does have the better taste but somebody correct me if I’m wrong didn’t Powerade used to be carbonated when it first hit the market
