Coming out of the silo is reassuring, educative. The book is like a bigger lens of Being Mary Jane. The story of famous women going through life’s turbulence.

“Through radical transparency, we breed community.” I love Gabrielle Union, this is an incredible interview with so much insight.

Gabrielle became 10000x more attractive as a full woman by sharing this very personal and vulnerable story with Kaavia and Dwayne. The strength, intelligence, fight, vulnerability, everything

Sometimes motherhood makes us feel like we are failures but that doesn’t make us less of a mother. I was not able to breastfeed my son..my body failed me, I had no milk production, for the first one month I was loosing it, I tried every drug available, natural methods, foods, plenty of water and warm drinks you name them and I felt like I had lost my bond of nurturing my new born baby forever.
I thought we shall never connect, worse of I resumed for work after 3 months and I could not concentrate at work anymore.
I later lost my job but I felt like that was part of the many sacrifices we have to endure as parents.

I’m from Kenya, I wish I could read your book.
My mother told me that motherhood is a calling, because we sacrifice so much for our children.

Nobody is worth stressing over. People come and go. Move on and go find yourself, the world is yours. Life goes on.

If Gabrielle Union had Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, she would be Candace Owens.

Unpopular opinion: Surrogacy is VERY expensive and tends to exploit women (usually single mothers) in desperate financial situations willing to take a lot of hormones and sell their bodies for 9 months. I’m sorry, but I’d rather talk about that and not RICH PEOPLE’S PROBLEMS.
