Fred Savage points out some problematic details in some classic films and talks about working on his birthday.
Breakfast at Tiffany’s? Surely that classic is still fine!
I agree with Fred. The normal happy birthday song sucks. That’s why I started using this one: https://youtu.be/eZ_ZQkV58Cc
Yeah, and that’s why it sucks to be a kid today. Totally sacharine, humorless, approved TV that never risks anything.
There’s always Weekend at Bernies.. at least it was wrong even back then.
I just watched Friends again, and wow it did not age well.
His voice still cracks, and that’s awesome
The first Mary Poppins to me is a perfect example. Because of how the dad is. My kids questioned why the dad was like that after watching it
Watched Indiana Jones with my daughters and had to answer a couple of questions about why this movie is so great when he treats women like dirt. Eye opener for me, and had some good discussions after that.
Everyone is so sensitive nowadays. In 20 years, we’re going to end up being a humorless society where blue comedy is a crime.
I like him even more now that I see how he is as a dad.
Can’t buy me Love
he looks like an old teenager
He hasn’t aged. Still looks full of youth. Winnie Cooper and Becky Slater would still date him.
