Bahaha! Funny, but it does make me think as well. Like, there is a little sword vibe to every gun. And something about swordfighting… I’m high. Someone else can build it.

I love swords and fencing. Great exercise. My avatar on youtube is my boy with an italian fencing mask and a sports or olympic saber.

It’s strange how “The Walking Dead” 💀 and a general obsession with zombies and war games and rich people were so popular in the lead up to the Trump era and America’s divorce from reality and virtue. Life imitating art, perhaps — or maybe death imitating art.

Ive been saying it for years. Gangs should learn swordfighting and bring back dueling.
Think about it: no innocent casualties.
U wanna get the community on ur side, right?

Meh. I prefer spears. They have a longer reach, are easier to use, and you can throw them.

Sam, please fix the moderation settings of this channel. They’re far more arbitrary than your peers’. For example, many of the words that you yourself use in the videos—important words that are key to the issues you’re highlighting—are getting blocked in the comments. If you’re employing human moderators, they are not able to handle the volume of comments generated by your videos. The only comments getting published are either too bland, or else use typographical tricks to fool the moderation settings. I don’t have time for that.

    I’m an apprentice blacksmith.
I’ve made 6 swords so far out of old Chevy pickup rear axle springs (51600 steel).
My latest has African Ebony handles inlaid with pearl. Currently engraving, when I’m finished I’m going to inlay 24k gold. I’m 14 years old/ my high school history teacher is also my Blacksmith instructor. I’ve sold two swords so far. One was basically a copy of Excalibur and the other a copy of the sword from 300.
That one took me a while. It involved a lot of cutting and filing by hand to get it right.
It paid for my first lessons and some of my equipment.

Yes the first pair of tongs I made myself.

But I still love my firearms. They’re fun to shoot competitions with. Long range, 50 meter silhouette (because of my age I shoot .22LR for that). I’m also into three Gun competitions.
    You use;
semi-automatic shotgun in 20 gauge (12 gauge hurts my shoulder)
Glock 19L by Taran Tactical. Firearms aren’t the problem ma’am. People are.

Finally!! Someone else is saying what I’ve believed all along!

That is, that swords are way cooler than guns.

  • Malte Schaper 1 year ago

The sword is the ultimate home defence because it gives you a parry roll. What do you get with guns? Ammo rolls and/or malfunction. Pfffff…

  • Chris Greenawalt 1 year ago

hehehehe, the good wendy’s. We have those, especially since the bad wendy’s smells like sewage… ALL the time.

  • Lilly Who 1 year ago

Actually, provided both opponents are quite skillful, a sword fight is a lot more profound and sporting than shooting to begin with. The mild acrobatics and coordination required for sparring are just sometimes completely different from just sitting behind cover and shooting.

It takes too much skill to wield a sword but I do carry one to the Renaissance Festival but they tie it 😢, lol!

The best part about this is that there are a fuckton of restrictions about carrying bladed weapons in public where I live. 🙁

The only thing that stops a bad guy with a sword is a good guy with a lance, swordreaver, swordslayer, or a regular axe if the sword in question is a lancereacer. Remember the weapon triangle, kids!

I prefer swords over guns because, they never run out of ammunition.

  • Derrick Peng 1 year ago

I’ve unironically argued for years that swords a superior self-defense weapon than guns while being harder to commit mass murders with.

Here in Texas, it’s legal to carry a sword everywhere. It didn’t use to be, but once the state legislature made it legal to tote loaded machine guns in public, somebody pointed out that all those old knife regulations seemed petty in comparison, so they got rid of those restrictions, too.

A sword can slice a tomato. Try that with a gun.
