Yeah man, “no strings attached”, but they own everything when the country can’t pay back in time. And they will make sure they can’t pay back in time 😉

What’s wrong with that? No conditions involving meddling with how the government run their countries. In return of mega infrastructure. And common, don’t talk about unequal or unfair work opportunity. These are mega projects that require many specialties and China with it’s vast amount of experience running these projects naturally wants its people to ensure the success of the projects. Any delays or miscalculation could bring disaster or delay to project timeline. The local needs to learn to be patient, learn from the experts and one day be the ones to to future mega projects domestically. I don’t see why these can become issue. When US came to China to open manufacturing sites the locals have to learn the trades as well. The Chinese did not demand US corporates to appoint their people to management. They knew that they need to learn from the experienced.

We all need help at some point. It might help US and China to build a better reserve for not just Africa but for US and China. Spy my *$$. We all have camera phones and high tech things. We can save more of resources for the wildlife for Africa and other Reserve areas.

The difference between the west and china is that China wants to develop Africa and the west does not want to develop Africa or even for Africa to develop. The west gets much more from an undeveloped Africa than they would from a developed one. A developed Africa would mean Africans owning their resources and no longer being exploitable by the west.

China, on the other hand, gains nothing from an undeveloped Africa as poor Africans cannot trade Chinese goods or make use of Chinese mega projects. So China wants Africa to shape up and not be dominated by wars. Well, the west thrive in wars in Africa and continue to fuel wars and start new ones to keep Africa below development.

Africans need to make their choice as to which devil is better for them.

Hear me out: China is making Afrika the new China, that much is clear… But what happens when Afrika gets to the point where China is now? There is no continent left to get cheap labor at. That’s when things start getting scary

At least ordinary people can enjoy those infrastructures. I don’t care about politics, and no one really cares about Africans.

The infrastructures are there to benefit the people after all . Whatever you say or however you retell the story wouldn’t change that. So much better for these propagandas.
