Just in case anyone is unsure by Eddie’s pronouns – Izzard is genderfluid and has said she prefers ‘she’ and ‘her’ pronouns, but “[doesn’t] mind” ‘he’ and ‘him’.

Eddie Izzard is one of the first comedians my parents introduced me to. It’s surreal to see them almost exactly the same as they were 20 years ago. I can’t wait until my daughter can appreciate decent humor.

Eddie Izzard would have been amazing as Bitsy in “Central Park.” Stanley Tucci’s cool but I wouldn’t be surprised if Eddie Izzard does work on Central Park too

Pronoun Olympics. Gender-fluidity is no joke. Eddie Izzard is a University course all unto himself. I’m such a fan.

Why call her an actress? Isn’t actor the term regardless of gender? We don’t say doctress, or chiropractress.

How do I contribute to what Eddie is raising money for AND did she say she was running for parliament? Can we contribute to that?!

Anyone else shocked about the revelation that ‘Izzard’ isn’t pronounced like ‘lizard’?

This bloke is a complete idiot. He think he can just state that he is a woman. He can dress how he wants, wear what make up he wants but he is not & never will be a woman. Thankfully there are actual women in the UK who are not having this BS. #TerfWars #MagdalenBerns

It was such a one off comment, but “I didn’t think my dad followed my career but it seems he saved everything” is so lovely and heartbreakingly wonderful. Eddie Izzard you magnificent woman.
