I could understand that it would be overreaching if a woman had to wait 2 to 3 months for an abortion. But 2 to 3 days seems appropriate given the gravity of the event. Having a wait period is responsible. What happens if a woman is being coerced or manipulated into an abortion? The resentment could have far reaching consequences.

I wish The Daily Show listed the original air date, Dr. Parker needs to be booked now considering federal abortion rights are about to be overturned and likely outlawed in multiple states.

As congressman Barney Frank said about 40 years ago, “Conservatives believe that life begins at conception and ends at birth.”

The majority needs to take control and act like a majority. Impose its will on the far right wingnuts that de facto rule the USA. If they don’t, they deserve everything they fet. Including full-on consolidated autocracy under Ivanka, starting in 2024.

What about the partner that helped concieve the fetus? I disagree that the decision should only be the woman’s right to choose.

It took two to tangle. It should take two to decide.

I don’t think it’s fair for people who don’t support universal healthcare to call themselves “pro-life.”

Timely and relevant and I never thought about it like that, being pro-life as in the women’s side. I’ve always been pro-choice but I never thought about it like that being pro-life for the women. That’s definitely words to live by especially since it’s a woman giving birth or having to deal with this issue. I know I still need to get to understand more about abortion but I clearly understand the gravitas of what being able to let them choose what they do with their bodies and the impact that will have on many women for the obvious reason it will save a lots of women’s lives
