James welcomes Dr. Phil to the show and immediately puts him to work answering a question from our writer Molly who is soon to be married and wondering how to keep things “spicy.” Then after James asks him for his opinion on how American life has changed in the last 20 years, Dr. Phil shares some thoughts about folks who think the COVID-19 vaccine is some sort of vast conspiracy. I’ve gotten the vaccine. I work in a hospital and I see sick unvaccinated covid patients and sick vaccinated covid patients; however, there are less vaccinated sick ones but some do still get really sick. It’s really dependent on how your body responds to Covid and/or the vaccination. I would never tell someone to get vaccinated in order to “protect” others as they can potentially hurt themselves by getting vaccinated. For some people, there is an allergic reaction, and for some they develop serious issues from the vaccine (but also with Covid you can develop serious issues). There is potential harm with getting vaccinated and potential harm with not getting vaccinated although for most people there is no major or life threatening reaction with the vaccine. It should be left for each individual to make a choice if they want to risk potential harm with covid or risk potential harm with the vaccine. Vaccinated or not, you can still pass covid on to others. So please everyone, WASH YOUR HANDS each time you are away from home. Touching common areas that everyone else is touching without washing your hands is one major way of passing the virus to others and to yourself. USE SOAP! (As some just rinse their hands) smh.

Compared to the anti-vaxxers, even “Dr.” Phil sounds reasonable.
