Is it just me, or does this ‘we need to help get the African people vaccinated’ sound horrifying? I understand that this political game of getting vaccines has made vaccines more available in Europe and the US than in many other countries (I happen to live in a developing country). Also, unless this ‘vaccine’ stops being a commercial and political competition, we could never get enough vaccines all over the world to get enough people vaccinated in a short enough time to have any sort of control. Also, my home country had 90% of people vaccinated and is now locking down again after 1 month of no face mask and mass events. Perhaps governments could simply make better decisions and efficient policies to manage this.
