good Trevor is a comedian. Natural Balance is bullshit. That doesn’t exist. Animals are often self destructive and cruel.
Simple example is cats play with mices before killing and eating them.
Another is Cats hunt mices until none is left. They don’t leave a “healthy population” at ones home.

    Revelation 13:10

“He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.”

    Revelation 13:10 Context

7And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. 8And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. 9If any man have an ear, let him hear. 10He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints. 11And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon. 12And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. 13And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,

It’s painful to think of mega corporations and those in power messing up the environment and hurting all communities, animal and human alike along the way, without having the power to stop them. But Dr. Goodall is absolutely right, it can be a tremendous boost to your own mental well-being to take action locally, and I loved her stream analogy. It’s easier to focus on a local thing and find others downstream or upstream to do their part as well. There are so many aspects to tackling the climate crisis because EVERYTHING is related, you can surely find something that speaks to you. You can mobilize against food waste, water waste, plastic/trash; ask city for community food gardens, more clean up events and stewardship of parks and local land and waterways; ask the town’s most popular restaurant to switch from plastic take out utensils or something… If you are lucky, there are already organizations in your community, you just need to find and join them (try facebook or city government sites). A lot of these groups are small in number but they don’t need to be. They need you!

The planet is self correcting and if we don’t get our act together we’ll go the way of the Dodo.It would be best to think of our situation as an opportunity to reframe our relationship with our ecosystem. I don’t mean live poorly, but live comfortable with planet friendly technology. Look at history people’s lives have improved each time we have made major changes.

All this thing should be taught in school, children go to school and they learn crap that don’t even remember when they grow up.
Schools should teach kids how to live and how to take care of the planet. Composting, recycling, planting and taking care of nature, Yoga Meditation, love and compassion. If this things are not learn when we are young, then the only thing that is in mind is make money and no matter how.
There is so little consciousness in this planet, perhaps this human race have to disappear and a new and conscious race emerge.

Dr Goodall has been one of my heroes since very early in her research – I remember thinking “Woah, the real Tarzan is Jane!” So just now when Trevor addressed her as “Doctor” I had another sudden thought: Hasn’t the Queen made a Dame of her yet? Why not??
