Dang, Trevor put this guy thru the ringer. Much appreciated, it helped him articulate his views!
Reply“Vices” are often symptoms rather than the cause resulting from a void of alternative choice or info
Replyyou are making the Doctor blushed…he’s a moderate man. Don’t mess with my wine and my beers. LOL Individual Moderation in every consumption.
Reply>publicity>acceptance>legality = illegal. Death is =abuse. Abuse was because of legality of drugs. This is a no win situation for anyone.
ReplyMy favorite drug counselor.
ReplyI listened however, there is still something missing. Maybe when I read the book it may fill the gap.
ReplyI grew up in the 70s and 80s I know the damage drugs can do.
ReplyI thought rehab was a safety net for people on drugs 🥴
ReplyNo conscious human being believes Mr. Floyd died because of drugs. A defense attorney pulling at straws.
ReplyEmpty words. Trevor, you are horrible.
ReplyBefore Big Gov got a hold of monetizing Schedule C drugs, people were free to decide for themselves. Doctors used to prescribe some of these drugs. Plus, regardless if it’s legal or not, people will still find a way. The professor’s persective is very Libertarian 🙌
ReplyThe Victor who has the money, controls indoctrinated narrative that programs the mass public! LoveLove
ReplyTrev said you could have illegal alcohol because it has too much alcohol. This is false, no amount of alcohol is illegal. Everclear is 95% ethanol and is sold in most liquor stores.
ReplyStop using drug use as an excuse for police brutality and racism! If a black man killed George Floyd there wouldn’t have even been a toxicology report!
ReplyDr. Carl is make us all think. By the way, Dr. Carl isn’t saying go buy drugs off the street!
ReplyHmmm not quite swayed yet !!but I suppose we should look at the topic through a multiple perspective 🤔
ReplyWhy did i just get SO excited because me and Trevor have on the same color Hoodie 😍 Then I remembered that this was probably taped yesterday 🥴🍫
ReplyHey Trevor how’s it going man thanks for posting this is Dr Hart incredible I’m glad to see that you’re bringing out the true light about drugs and the greed of money
ReplyOne of the best books I have ever read.

Dr. Hart is a legitimate voice of sanity.
Reply15:40-42 is an alteration in The voice I need to let you know that entities the boogeyman the devil benefit from manipulating the consciousness of this country Osiris is the entity that the Pentagon worships and that is gold that is the Federal reserve and rothschilds this is the second war on drugs this is repeating a pattern that happened before the Egyptian empires fall
Reply9 million followers and 7000 views.
ReplyHey Noah you do know you can buy views too dont you?
~~~`the history of mankind is one of expanding consciousness at certain high social infrastructure stress points by using mind expanding substances there’s also a spiritual side that says that if they are used for the wrong reasons the person can open themselves up to entities I would probably say this is a groundbreaking forefront of a battle against the current structure and consciousness of humanity heading into a new age of Horus and Reuben~~~
Reply~~~my husband uses substances to detox his body and allow him to do deeper transcendental meditations he creates a ritual and a routine that includes a safe space and this is called Shadow work or shamanism and it’s important to teach these things~~~
ReplyNna ke Hana tsohle tseo motho enwa a di buwang! We should normalize drug use because others are legal anyway? Come on
Replydrugs are no more the problem for addiction than guns are the problem for murders. People are the problem, for all their problems. Everybody wants to blame something other than themselves for their problems. We are a nation of adolescence. Adults know themselves and deal with it.
ReplyWhen everything is NOT about the money we will know peace.
ReplyDrugs are banned because this is a Christian Nation…Puritan and Evangelical influence is very history in US politics and policies.
ReplyAmen and hallelujah to this man
ReplyEvery time a drug is stigmatized it is 100% related to race
ReplyDrug use is a symptom of another deeper condition. Very articulate incorrect argument. Well done.
ReplyTrue their are functional people and our society should do well to identity and treat addiction rather than just throwing people in jail or alienating people. I just think the hard stuff might be a stretch until the fight with marijuana and other lesser things are not put down badly in more places in the country
ReplyFloyd overdosed
Reply<----Responsible pothead. I don't think I could take society without it.
Reply“They’re making too much money off it this!!”
“Ban it.”
Then…. the money earning flow shifts ways.
Anything can be bad, if is not moderated. But whether is something legal or banned, that choice still up to oneself, because is not like it doesn’t find a way into neighborhoods.
ReplyWhat great timing as I’m about to continue my class lesson on substance abuse. Thanks to Dr Hart for keepin it real and simple for us laypersons to understand
ReplyDrug use is the only thing that has kept me sane in this society. My mental health is more important than your hypocrite laws.
ReplyWoah Trevor you are using your influence in a way that could lead to a lot of harm to a lot of people This guy is making a lot of statements that are not based in fact. Not buying it.
ReplyEveryone should send video to the breakfast and show CTG and DJ Envy this interview. But Angie is cool though
ReplySo no one thinks legalization of Heroine is dumb.I think we are giving people too much credit. The drugs he wants to legalize are crazy. I want folks driving around on hard drugs.
ReplyTHANK YOU FOR PUTTING DR. HART ON YOUR SHOW! 👏👏🙌🙌 all the naysayers really should watch his TedTalks
ReplyThank you Dr. Hart! Your brilliance will place truth were it belongs – in our heads and heart.
ReplyThis interview blew my mind.
ReplyI have been saying this for years!!!! This will also decrease the demand for drugs from outside of the country
ReplyTrevor Noah’s entire career ‘Trump, am I right?’
ReplyFinally!! I am saying this since I am 13 years old!!!
ReplyMate, your hair must be on drugs .. its crazy town. Love 💘 it.
ReplyKudos to Dr. Hart. I completely agree that drug use is an integral part of ALL societies. If your goal is to reduce damage to society, then allow the users to make informed decisions AND more importantly, ensure that you KNOW what you’re getting…
ReplyI haven’t read the book and honestly didn’t understand his argument for the first half of the video but what I have gathered is, drugs aren’t the problem, it’s people’s conditions (emotional health, unemployment, socioeconomic conditions) that we should be looking to address. But in our current society we get distracted, antagonize drug use, and miss the real story
Replyhe is a FOOL.
ReplyI approve this message💯👍
ReplyLove this interview 😊 the hippies had it right in the 70’s all we need is love man😂(and drugs)
ReplyDrugs keep PEOPLE ASLEEP spiritually. If countries don’t want drugs they don’t have them.
ReplyExcellent ! We need this info . Thanks Dr. Hart
ReplyNow I’m starting to heard things that don’t make sense. Part of it makes sense but to blame society on the reason people abuse drugs smh. No man drugs are bad. With his logic if a responsible person looses his job he will become addicted, end up dead or do something dangerous. No man
ReplyWhat. What, What? How can the movies be where the convo starts. How many people in this country don’t see drug users in real life? Huh. Guess I just live in the part where there’s drug use. I’m sorry for the Harm Reduction uninformed i.e. D.A.R.E. grads who got introduced to drug of all kinds.
ReplyWow!! Absolutely Wow!! I am dumbfounded by this. Absolutely brilliant!!! I love this Dr. Very thought provoking.
Replyi coulnt finish the video.. the amount of BS this spewing is baffling!
ReplyI do drugs
ReplyAs usual a great interview. Two smart people…
ReplyIt’s known that drug abuse (just like teen pregnancy) goes down when people are educated about it. You are less likely to die of an overdose if you know what an overdose amount is. When people are educated they can spot the symptoms of an overdose earlier and save a life. But Americans love ignorance, especially when that ignorance makes people money.
Reply1:15 70-80% of users are not addicted. On the other hand, 20-30% are addicted. Bit of a risk, no?
ReplyDrug use is not the cause of problems, it’s a symptom.
ReplyThis is one of the best things you have ever done Trevor
ReplyI think this man’s drug use is clouding his mind.
ReplyEdit: I wrote this before watching the end of the video and when he said that drugs were banned because of racism, I was proven right.
Also George Floyd said “I can’t breathe” while he was still standing up on the sidewalk, while he was sitting in the back of the police car, way before he was lying down and Chauvin had his knee on his neck. He was saying that because the drugs clouded his mind. How could he have not been able to breathe if he was just normally standing on the sidewalk?
Well done Trevor for getting Carl Hart for a proper interview, most TV shows would not do this.
ReplyThis is such an excellent interview!
Replythis interview was cut from the daily show i downloaded (dont hate on me for downloading) also who else got a ad after this video against drug use, showing actual criminal drug users…
ReplyCrazy bit you Trevor but the thought of his saying scared me and make me concerned
ReplyPeople, do not need drugs to make their lifes better or happier, and I am speaking from a personal experience, I have never tried anything in my 55 years ,a part from alcohol and tobacco!
ReplySince we already have legalised alcohol and tobacco and see the devastating effects of these two on those who are addicted , I don’t see the need to legally endorse further addictions ,this will just create another brunch of industry ,to enrich certain people! Nothing to do with race, or anything else, it’s all about being responsible parent, raising your children aware of the dangers of drugs, alcohol and tobacco, and personal choices .
Wait, does this dude uses heroine?
ReplyWow. Someone who’s seeing things how I see them…..
Now the pressure is on to not get addicted to anything. LOL
ReplyAlcohol is the gateway drug period!
ReplyPrince knew. He obviously knew, celebrities can get the best drugs if they’re seeking for that. It’s preposterous that he didn’t know. But truth all plants are not inherently anything, humans interfere, followed by inherent danger and death.
ReplyI still think it screams of a grift. But a highly impressive one and quite original. Kinda of.
ReplyThey also banned alcohol to stop Irish workers from congregating and forming Unions.
ReplyHere’s to the wisdom of recognizing your own ignorance, based on what people thought they knew.
ReplyKnowledge=Experience
If you don’t have it; you don’t really know it.
Hi, I use amphetamines… ’cause that’s what my adhd medication is… 👍
