ReplyI remember being in 2nd grade watching the series finale of M.A.S.H. with my mom. She had fallen asleep and I sat there watching it by myself. I still remember it as one of the saddest moments of my life. Anytime I hear the theme song it brings that feeling to the surface.

ReplyThe reason why so many people can connect with this man and the characters he played is because he always showed the flaws, the humanity, of his characters. It hits you in a deeper emotional level without even noticing.
