Nailed it. A bunch of random nobodies totally going to sway me on my rights. Thank you for making me see the light.
ReplyLet’s do something about freedom of speech and press too. It’s dangerous.
ReplyPartiots would not donate to enable tyranny. They would give you the boot instead.
ReplySo what is the one thing you want them to do?
ReplyOoooo.. this one got up the troll’s noses, I see.
ReplyIt’s useless. Conservatives have proven over and over that you can enact extreme changes and only some of them will be clawed back while the rest will go on and people will think that things have always been this way. The logic of liberal politicians is that of incrementalism. Whether that’s because they actually care just as little about governance than conservatives do, or because they genuinely believe that kowtowing to conservative demands will decrease the likelihood of progress being undone, it’s simply not the right approach for society.
ReplyNothing will change until some high ranking Republican loses a loved one in a mass shooting…and even that might change anything.
ReplyDo not defund the Police for one. Look at Baltimore! Very strict gun control laws but yet people of color still shoot each other. Loop holes excuse? Same old Blue state response. Our current news will not face facts and say people of color are Committing: most murders and crimes.
ReplyWhy not let the People of Baltimore police themselves? Remove all the white people and White cops? Hold the politicians accountable?
What will help more than gun control laws is changing the hyper masculine, violence glorifying, gun worshipping culture and teaching that a gun is a tool to be respected and used responsibly and not a prop for your Instagram photos.
ReplyNeed to pass about seven to ten things that will cumulatively help to bring gun violence down.
ReplyMake it profitable for cops to regulate these laws. Maybe make all gun laws federal. Wyoming has to regulate as much as California. The state with the hardest laws set the standard for the country
Replywhat if every time there’s a mass shooting, everyone in Congress has to donate one dollar per dead body to planned parenthood ? That’d motivate them.
ReplyTegan and Sara!!! I LOVE IT!!
ReplyI have a smart phone that only my finger can unlock. How about a Kickstarter for a smart gun, that only the owner can unlock, using their finger. It would be something.
ReplyI like your content and yes I do agree with you people shouldn’t be allowed to carry firearms. Especially if they’re not in the right mind set
ReplyDespite making up only 4% of the world population Americans own 40% of the worlds fire arms
we got to pump those numbers up
Reply162 mass shootings in 4 months is beyond shocking. Thank you for noticing. Peace.
ReplyIf gun control worked Chicago would be a crime free paradise and in New Hampshire and Maine the streets would run red with blood. Of course reality is the opposite of this, as crime is a behavioral problem, not a hardware issue. If these Hollywood celebs would like to do one thing they should give up own armed bodyguards and just call the cops if they need to.
ReplyDO ONE THING ABOUT GUN CONTROL: Defund it!
Replyy?
ReplyThe more we do that you want, the closer to losing our lives we become.
ReplyI did my part, I took my stimulus check and used it to adopt a homeless Glock 19.
ReplyIt’s much happier now that it has a home and all the ammo it needs to keep it full.
Black Guns Matter.
Imagine advocating for taking away people’s human rights just because you’re afraid of an inanimate object.
ReplyI hate to be the one to say it, but having celebrities on camera for half a second each does literally nothing to solve the problem.
ReplyNot until you remove all of the armed security of every single person who wants us to do ‘oNe tHiNg aBoUt gUnS!’. You get the same level of security the rest of us get: Yourselves. Anything else is just you being privileged hypocrites.
ReplyOne thing about gun control, get rid of it.
ReplyI will do “one thing”, I will buy more and continue to teach firearms safety and proper use to as many people (including Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts). That is my ONE THING!!
ReplyStick to your job of trying to be funny.
ReplyGuns are dumb.
ReplyI could swear Josh Groban sounded like Ian Anderson there.
ReplyWas that Chris Mann, parody King @1.07?
ReplyEnd gun control now
ReplyThis woman is clueless. First driving is a privilege in no way a right like owning guns and second you can’t just walk in pic out a gun and go. Another liberals idiot.
ReplyThey might want to start by enforcing the laws we have by the thousands and give the death penalty out more and make it public on all tv’s. The biggest problem in America is no accountability and the second is liberals who have no clue period to start with about the topics they preach on.
ReplyLegalize machine guns
ReplySince Samantha wants to talk numbers… 30%-40% of Americans own 300-400 million firearms. There were an average of 10251.6 firearm homicides between 2015 and 2019. Using a 350 million firearm average-that is about .00229% of firearms used in homicides. If we take out gang violence (about 80% of homicides), that number significantly drops. If you want to do one F#%^& thing about firearms, prosecute federal firearm crimes–depending on the state in which you live, up to 71% (Delaware) of these federal crimes get dropped because they are expensive to prosecute. How about stopping the No Cash Bail like in New York (research Darrius Sutton)? How about the fact that legally owned firearms are used in self defense 60,000-2.5 million times a year? I can account for one of those. How about we not criminalize 100+ million legal gun owners in America? As far as how the rest of the world compares to the United States, I don’t care–the United States of America has freedoms that no other nation has. The freedom of speech is one of those rights and Samantha Bee has every right to say what she wants about firearms just like I have the right to introduce facts into the equation that she has presented here.
ReplyThis video just inspired me to buy 10 more guns.
ReplyGreat video! I’m very concerned about weapons in the hands of American citizens. I just gave a bit extra to my favorite advocacy organization because your video is so inspiring. While everytown is a great organization, they already receive a large amount of funding from Mike Bloomberg. I prefer to fund smaller more grass-roots organizations like the Firearms Policy Coalition. Thanks for contributing to this vibrant conversation on guns! Can’t shake the feeling that our side is finally winning this conversation!
ReplyHere’s the answer! Make it illegal to shoot people! Ha. This video is funny! All those people wanting attention and recognition for saying “Do something”. Also make it illegal to rob peoples cars and houses to steal guns. Immediately “execute people” that shoot someone from robbery’s, burglaries, hate, anger crimes. (A good deterrent). A single bolt action 30-6 will go thru 2-3 peoples throats with no problem from 1 shot. If a sikko has a clean record, they can buy a gun. Make people immediately accountable rather than stretching it out 30 years.
ReplyGreat! Thanks a bunch Samantha.
ReplyNow my 95 year old Nana wants to know how she can vote for that Teddy Ruxpin.
What about the proposed Grassley-Cruz bill? That could have counted as “One F@%king Thing” done about guns. It aimed to help prevent guns from getting into _criminal_ hands. But that’s the reason Democrats didn’t like it – it targeted criminal guns and not _law-abiding citizens_ and their right to own a gun. So it didn’t get done. The truth is there are things that can be done but those types of measures don’t count as “real” because they don’t work towards the TRUE goal of the left — which is to eventually remove ALL GUNS FROM EVERY CITIZEN (aside from the ones owned by the political elites and their loyal minions).
ReplyHey Samantha, you can always go back to Canada. Leave the 2A alone… Shall NOT be infringed!
ReplyHow many of these celebs have armed security guards?
ReplyOver 20,000 gun laws on the books… Majority gun shootings are GANG related, DRUGS related, BLACK on BLACK and SUICIDE related.
ReplyMajority of what’s left are PEOPLE who shouldn’t have been able to get a gun, whether it’s mental issues or lied on there background check and the information about people who( aren’t allowed to get a gun ) not getting the information to LAW ENFORCEMENT…
I’M a LAW ABIDING CITIZEN!!! LEAVE ME ALONE!!!!
Love how the people who know nothing about guns are always the ones who post videos about gun control not knowing any laws about purchasing guns.
ReplyDo One F@%king Thing About Inflation! Or the fuel crisis, or the war on drugs (which causes the vast majority of the gun violence), or 7 wars we are fighting in around the world.
Reply$318…I spend that a week on ammo and range fees.
ReplyAnd my comment disappeared. @sonofRobin I don’t blame you. I WANT TO, but I can keep a clear head on who is responsible for what rather than pretend all my enemies are the same person.
ReplyI agree one thing how hard is that?
ReplyYou’re absolutely right we should do one thing…….teach firearm safety in schools
ReplyYou still have a show? Who’s watching?
ReplyLosing brain cells watching this.
ReplyViolence is not a gun issue. It is a mental issue. People in power choose to divide and push people to fight each other because people are easier to control when divided. The hate in this country is pushed by people like Samantha Bee. Leftists that would rather paint people as victims of their neighbor instead of a fellow citizen.
ReplyGuns are no more a problem than cars, fists, kitchen knives, etc.
The real danger in this country is propaganda for profit media and career politicians.
I sure want Teddy Ruxpin as a president
ReplyEnd racist gun laws
ReplyI think I’ll go out and buy a gun today. Thanks for the reminder!
ReplyYes, let’s do 1 thing. Nationalize carry permit.
ReplyGood to know I didn’t already respect anyone in this video. Glad I can judge people correctly.
ReplyI’d love to see more done, mandatory reciprocity so I don’t have to disarm at a state line, end gun free zones so parents can protect their kids at schools and sporting events. Dems block these common sense laws
ReplyI did 50 things today when my 13yo daughter and I practiced trigger control with a box of ammo…and she out scored me again.
ReplyI like guns, I also like gun control because not every gun has the same deadly power and not every gun owner has the same mind, but everyone saying that guns are a “human right” are STUPIDLY WRONG, owning and using a gun in most of the world is a privilege reserved for trained forces like the police and military, it is not a right specially not in the US where it is a privilege shared with white rich people only, since gun ownership is usually used against minorities to put them in jail or in a coffin.
ReplyOnly a matter of time before she’s out of a job. With out Trump she would have no show and now has no material. They have done multiple things for gun over the year and guess what, your Demcocatric lead cities keep getting worse. Be real, this is not a gun control issue it’s a people issue. Why does everyone blame the tools. And she cares so much she only dedicated 30 minutes. But again no Trump no material. Cancel it.
ReplyAt a certain age I believe it’s proper etiquette for older women to cover up their plunging chest area no?
ReplyThe one thing that would really help. Get rid of gun free zones… there you go. Your welcome.
ReplyCame here to read all the triggered gun grabber comments and have a good laugh. Surprised to see so many people in support for 2A.
ReplyBefore I thought she was just not funny. It turns out she is also absolutely pathetic )))
ReplyHow about we:
* Provide mental health care to those that need it
* Bring law enforcement into the 21st century, so that NICS can get properly updated
* Finish NICS investigations that take longer than 3 days
* Teach basic gun safety in school
* Address economic inequalities that lead to high crime rates
* Increase the minimum wage, so single parents have time to raise their kids (and let’s peg it to inflation this time)
But no, let’s pass another gun law, because *this* one will definitely work, unlike all the others.
ReplyPlease enlighten us about the “One Thing” we should do, PLEASE, I’m serious, what one thing would we need to change to make America safer? I’ll tell ya, mental health, that’s the real pandemic!
ReplyHow many of those celebrities have security people with guns? Maybe that’s the one !@#$ thing, outlaw armed private security. That will get a few more guns off the street right?
ReplyYou are a LIAR. The vast overwhelming majority of “Gun Crime/Violence” in the US comes from Democratic Cities with the strictest gun control laws. If you took all of the gang shootings from these gun control ridded Democratic Cities from the statistics , the truth would go against their agenda. Meanwhile, people like Samantha Bee here virtue signals, and wants us law abiding citizens to turn in our guns, while they are protected by armed security using the very same weapons that she want’s us to turn in. The science shows “More Guns, Less Crime”. Please see the work of Dr. John Lott, it was change your thinking, and allow you to see the truth in regards to “Gun Violence”.
ReplyProbably going to build a few “ghost guns” because of this video. Thanks for the inspiration you hypocritical rotten tyrant!
ReplyMy answer to you, Samantha, and the rest of your Hollywood reprobates, is “NO, your move”. I regard self defense rights as a hard core right, protected, not granted, by the Second Amendment. We, myself and the 120 million gun owners, are not going to permit you to deny us our rights.
ReplyJust do one thing…. shoot back
ReplyShe said she hosted a comedy show. Lol.
ReplyYou realize you live in a country where gun ownership is a constitutional right? Just like free speech, it’s the DNA of the US.
ReplyThat one thing being that you ivory tower ninnies can shut up about it and leave our gun rights alone. Bunch of ivory tower pampered ninnies not living in the real world trying to dictate the lives and decisions of people who they view as lowly peasants. Ivory tower pampers rich ninnies need to shut up.
ReplyOh boy, a bunch of elitist lizard people telling me what to do.
ReplyHere is your 1 thing for gun control. Use both hands on the grip and press instead of squeeze, elbows nearly locked, and stand square to the target. This gives amazing control. Hope that helps.
ReplyI just wondered Samantha Bee do you support defunding the police
ReplyManele the majority of the shootings are taking place in democratic-controlled cities with the most severe gun control laws and you know what’s funny every time you Democrats get in and try to push for gun-control when your Empower it seems that was always right after y’all get in there’s a mass of shootings so either you people the Democrats are paying people to perform these shootings or you cause the shootings
ReplyIt’s quite sad that this stuff is still “up for debate” in ‘Murica. Sometimes it seems like you’re living in the 1850s, with some of the ideas you have (you as in “people from your country”). But it seems more people are in favour of gun control now than ever, let’s see what happens.
ReplyKeep up the good work, Sam (and her team)!
Wow, can’t believe the segregationist has decided to donate the proceeds to Mike Bloombergs org. Curious!
ReplyDo this one thing: all citizens must carry a loaded weapon.
The most polite room are those with people carrying guns.
Why else most mass shooting happen in gun-less zones?
ReplyIf you hate gun’s and want gun control then move back to your home country of Canada, They seem to love gun control.
ReplyOh I agree let’s do ONE thing to change gun laws in America. I know let’s REPEAL THE 1934 NATIONAL FIREARMS ACT!!! YIPPEE KI-YAY!
ReplyYes give me the guns.
ReplyMy goodness! What an embarrassing waste of $10k!
Reply…………..Guns prevent an estimated 2.5 million crimes a year, or 6,849 every day. Most often, the gun is never fired, and no blood (including the criminal’s) is shed. Every year, 400,000 life-threatening violent crimes are prevented using firearms…………………..How many Volent crimes were stopped in England each year by guns ????????? …………..O…………….There were over 6.43 million crime offences recorded in the United Kingdom in 2019/20, an increase of around 120 thousand offences when compared with the previous reporting year and the highest in the UK since 2003/04, when there were 6.56 million.
ReplyI will do one thing: Buy more guns.
ReplyDo one thing buy more guns!
ReplyThey could legalize machine guns, that’d work for you, right?
ReplyIt only takes one glance at the comment section to remember that USA is toxic and doomed.
ReplyAmerica should put in your second amendment a point about regulation…….
ReplyTrigered 185 Americans so far
ReplyC..ant U..nderstand N..ormal T..hinking.
ReplyDon’t even need another sidearm, but this video just motivated me to buy another. Ordered it online but they can’t deliver it to my house! Has to go to my FFL where I’ll undergo a background check. I thought Democrats said we could just buy guns online without background checks???
Replybuying a new AR-15 today…how’s that for doing one thing…”Karen”
ReplyWe aren’t “doing anything” because Mike Bloomberg and his pocket activists in Everytown keep pushing the same tired gun control from the 1980s. Maybe try something that could actually work, take your minor celebrity smooth brain political hot takes and just… don’t
ReplyCelebrities with expensive armed security details don’t get to tell me that I don’t need to own firearms for self-defense.
Replythe 2nd amendment was written to insure citizens have the ability to defend themselves. Whether is be from a tyrannical government, or blm and antifa looters or anyone in between. Any laws written otherwise, only give the ability of creating threat to the non law abiding. Who won’t follow those laws anyway. Leaving the citizens to rely on a defunded police department?
ReplyThe funny thing about vehicle laws are that people break them EVERY DAY! Illegal window tint, No Registration, No Insurance, No Inspection, No Seatbelt, Using a Cellphone, Failure to use turn signals…etc. Great comparison you hack
ReplyI did three things, bought 3 new guns! Just doing my part!
ReplyI have my suppressor on order..and buying another gun. The 2nd amendment is great. Thanks for all your help.
ReplyAnyone else burst into tears when Gabby Giffords said it? Ooof
ReplyIs that a young Elon Musk at 1:02?
ReplyChange the reference from gun control to gun safety?
ReplyLove it when folks do these…let’s me know who the genuine idiots are, and which D-list celebrities obviously don’t need me to watch their shows, listen to their music or otherwise spend one red cent on their products.
Replywhat a worthle$$ CU/V T
ReplyHold criminals accountable.
ReplyDo one F***** thing? I have done 2 things since the November election. I bought a .22 rifle and an AR-15. 🙂
ReplyIt’s a free country. If you don’t guns go live where the people agree they don’t want them either. Otherwise learn to tolerate others. I tolerate you but don’t push your opinions on me. I think guns are important equipment and are not to be banned.
ReplyRepeal all gun control laws that harm the rights of law abiding citizens to have lawful access to guns! And I will match all the donations given to the idiots at Everytown, to the NRA, GOA, NYSRPA, VCDL!
ReplyWhat you can do is move to Canada problem solved
Replytrust, obey, fear. rinse and repeat until the agenda is passed.
ReplySo what is your solution?
ReplyI wonder what would happen if you put this amount of effort into intervening in violent areas, mental health care, and lowering poverty. You would probably make more progress in the next 18 months than you have since this movement began.
Reply
