Neil deGrasse Tyson isn’t super impressed by how far the world’s billionaires have traveled outside of Earth’s atmosphere, but he’s happy to see them spend their money on the space race instead of yachts. Check out Neil’s new book, “Welcome to The Universe in 3D,” and experience additional content narrated by Neil himself on the project’s website, http://www.welcometotheuniverse.net. #Colbert #WelcometotheUniverse #NeildeGrasseTyson

it’s hard to see how it’s an opinion on where space is. if you’re completely above the atmosphere, youre within the vacuum of space. beingfurther out, to the moon or mars, doesnt make it more ‘space’.

Colbert is a terrible interviewer at times. This is one of those times. Just shut up and let the smart man talk. Just awful.

I love Neil and think he’s wonderful. I noticed that his hands were shaking. I wonder if he was just nervous being on the show….

*It never ceases to amaze that there are still people who don’t wish to accept the fact that we all are on Spaceship Earth!*
