I’m assuming they have figured out a way to make sure the carpet dries properly. They have both made good money and I’m sure the carpet and floor underneath is meant for wet situations. Besides, plenty people have died by slipping on wet tile in their bathrooms. That won’t happen with carpet.

Here’s the thing: Carpets are controversial no matter where you put ’em. Its a ‘YUCK!’ thing to have – ever since the dawn of Mr. and Mrs. Caveman.

I’ve been in a couple of carpeted bathrooms. They were put in by people 70 years ago. The stains were about the same age. Nobody’s talking about the flaky wallpaper either?

Now let’s see him defend that recipe he’s got with 2 cups of vanilla extract.

I grew-up with carpet in the bathroom till I was 11-12. You whip-out and completely miss you just shrug. You can’t clean the carpet like you can wipe-off tile or lino. The best you’ll do is throws t.p. on it and stomp on it. Unacceptable.

The best thing about “stranger things” is the soundtrack to the second season. I wouldn’t bother actually watching any of it at all ever.

My grandparents had carpets in both their bathrooms and we loved it as kids but it must have been a nightmare to clean. (Maybe because our houses are rarely made from wood here we dont really have mold problems so thats not an issue)

The carpet and the whole bathroom design is a step back in time to the Golden Girls

I haven’t seen the video, but as a child of the 70s I miss shag carpet (so ugly but so comfy and throw rugs in the bathroom. Anyway, people should be able to do whatever makes them happy in their space. When did folks become so gratuitously judgemental?!
