James chats with “No Time To Die” stars Daniel Craig and Rami Malek, and Rami shares he didn’t have to consider accepting a role as the film’s villain – it was an instant yes. And Daniel talks about his approach at trying to evolve his portrayal of James Bond over five films before James asks him about what advice he has for the next person to be cast as 007. After, Daniel remembers his early days on the stage when students would throw candy at him (that he ate).
Different actors taking on the same role and evolving it. UHM.

Daniel Craig, you deserve all the success. You are a really good actor, look at you on Road to Perdition movie, brilliant acting. You shined next to greats like Hanks and Newman. Congrats.

ReplyOne of the most memorable lines in a Bond film…
ReplyBond: “Vodka Martini”
Bar guy: “Shaken or Stirred?”
Bond: “Do I look like I give a damn?”
Yes, I’m one of them who doubted you, Daniel. On The Record, You’ve made me wrong. Sorry, i’ve ever doubted you.
ReplyDaniel Craig made Bond history for being able to have this serialized chronology of how they’re all tied together under the Spectre umbrella. I don’t think you can watch “No Time To Die” as a standalone and have the full impact without watching the other Craig Bond movies in their order that helps make sense of what is going on in “No Time To Die”. This is unique and when the producers at EON reboot the franchise with a new actor, I don’t know if they’ll follow this path again or go back to just standalone movies like they did before Craig. It’s as if they did the MCU but with the Bond universe for the last 15 years.
ReplyEveryone keeps telling Rami to his face what a great villain he is!! Sorry to say that unfortunately he just is not, though it’s certainly more the writing than him!
