Published on November 18, 2022

Seth Meyers takes a moment to address some of the errors from this week of Late Night, like saying a pool skimmer would be strong enough to fish Donald Trump out of a lake and not being sure how to pronounce the name of the grocery store chain ALDI.

Late Night with Seth Meyers.

Watch Late Night with Seth Meyers Weeknights 12:35/11:35c on NBC.

As someone who used to be a witch in my teenage years your continuing failure to get waxing and waning right is offensive, Seth.

I’m a huge fan, and rarely turn jackal, but the book Frankenstein by Mary Shelley is vastly different than the movie version. The creation is the victim in the story

Last week’s Corrections seems to have borne fruit in that Trump is supposed to get things wrong. Nobody sent in “Donald Trump spelled Chuck E Cheese wrong.”

WAX on – when the Moon’s face grows fuller and brighter night after night. WANE off – when the Moon’s face gets less full and dimmer night after night. Waxing = increasing. Waning = decreasing.

That blue hair you had at 5:44 looked pretty cool.

It’s only Frankenstein’s creature or Frankenstein’s monster in the movies. In the novel, because Frankenstein has created a man, he calls him Adam.

    Oh, Seth.
You flipped waxing and waning around the wrong way. But whether it’s waxing or waning, you still need to give it a shape – crescent or gibbous. So it’s not just a waxing mooning, for example. It’s a waxing crescent or gibbous. Or a waning crescent or gibbous.

8:24 No you have it backwards! Waxing means it’s getting bigger and waning means it’s getting smaller.

The thumbnail is extremely important. I mean, if you use a pic of some random guy pointing to his ear, it’s not very enticing.

Just to be clear that’s not what waxing and waning is but I figured you knew that for the joke
