A correction of a correction – a meteor can’t hit anything. A meteor is purely a visual phenomenon; it’s the streak of light left behind a meteorite as it vapourises in the atmosphere. The physical object in question is either a meteoroid (when it’s in space) or a meteorite (after it enters the atmosphere).Reply
