I enjoyed the “I’M THIRTEEN” joke massively more than the audience seemed to. And I gotta agree with Seth, “aunt” is a soft “ah” as in “awful”. It should not sound like “ant”.

ReplyAt least the Omicron variant didn’t try to blend into the chair like Mike Pence did.
ReplyYou pronounce aunt like a Brit and as a Brit, I wholeheartedly approve.
Reply2020, Part II has sucked.
ReplyBut Paul Rudd is Aunt-man…
ReplyThe only difference between Aunt and Ant? you
ReplyPaul Rudd is pronounced PAL Rudd

ReplyI really hope you’re doing well even though you just limp in with your intro. Merry Christmas to you, the crew, your families, and most Jackals!
ReplyWe have an old saying here in Appalachia: there’s no “I” in “team” but there’s “u” in “aunt”
ReplyA co-worker corrected me, “It’s aunt. Your aunt doesn’t crawl around on the ground, does she? That’s what ants do.”
ReplyI say both “aw-nt/ont” and “ant” depending on the name and which relative I’m talking about. I have an auntie (ont-y) Marlene but aunt (ant) Dee. Now that I’m on the East coast, I say “ont” more than “ant” because “Ant” is usually short for Anthony here.
BUT it’s always “OH mi cron.”
Replytomato, tomato, potato, potato lets call the whole thing off because I don’t read a difference.
ReplyI think the aunt pronunciation is a regional thing. Seth is from NH, I’m from MA and we say it like ont. My cousin is in Atlanta and she calls my mom an ant.
ReplyI am making $162/hour telecommuting. I never imagined that it was honest to goodness yet my closest companion is earning $21 thousand a month by working on the web, that was truly shocking for me, she prescribed me to attempt it simply ,
