I saw my first Conan Late Night sketch when I was 8 or 9 years old. It was the fake interview with the skeet shooter – where Conan throws a clay pigeon and the skeet shooter shoots Andy by mistake. I just thought it was the funniest thing. I sought him out whenever I could after that.

Obviously the kid has great taste in comedy. When I was 10 or 11 I watched Carson which led to Letterman so this totally tracks

we are all children, being an adult is just a front hiding who we really are. our true nature is as happy and carefree as children and the harsh reality of this ridiculous life forces us to hide inside our adult shells

I think that people have just become such big fans of Conan’s through his years of television that it’s at a point where we’ll pay attention to pretty much anything the man does. So perhaps that’s why this 11 year old is such a fan of the podcast. He knows whatever Conan does is great.

Was Gourley intended to be this big a part of the podcast from the beginning? Because he just has such amazing chemistry with Conan and Sona. The podcast would not be the same without him and that mic drop battle at the end was amazing.

I went from showing my 5 year old a video of pennywise putting on his mask and makeup to prove to him that he’s not real, just a human….to this.
