Every time I see Lisa Kudrow all I see is Phoebe Buffay
Replybeautiful
ReplyI’m just imagining what it was like as conan and lisa describing and that made me sentimental 🙁
ReplyConan, we love you!
Replyi thought they dated for some reason lol
ReplyI’m picturing what it was like and getting emotional
ReplyKudrow: Live in Conan
ReplyConan: NOSTALGIAC
Kudrow: Live in Conan
ReplyConan: NOSTALGIAC!
I saw her on Kevin Nealon’s show talking about how stressed she was for the first few seasons of Friends because she was overanalyzing things. Kind of crazy since she’s always come off as natural and carefree.
Replyfor those confused.. Liza Powel O’Brien is Conan”s wife, Lisa Kudrow is his first love, so please be aware.
ReplyConan was my favorite last night guy until he started the pollical views like crying Kimmel and horse face Seth
ReplyThis is all kinds of adorable
Reply01:42 Che Guevara such an important figure for theater. The indoctrination continues. Disgusting.
ReplyI’m majoring in Stage Management for Theatre and I’ve worked in a couple of theatres around the area but I love their message. It is true, nobody knows where we’ll be in 5 to 10 to 20 years. If you are passionate about your career and you keep going, trying everything you can to get somewhere whether its a small or big company while meeting people along the way and helping them as well but more importantly being yourself. As long as you’re happy, you’ll be where you want to be. And Conan has been one of my role-models. Creativity is THE greatest skill to learn and have. I am so thankful for Conan cuz he is THE best talk show host ever. And yes my fellow theatre majors and I are in a tough situation while we’re all still in this covid era but I’m still gonna keep going. No matter what year it is, no matter where I’ll be, no matter who I’m working under, I will always love my career and I am excited for the future. This whole video was nice and inspiring cuz look at Conan and Lisa, two kids who did improv class together and 30+ years later, they’re living their dream. ANYTHING is possible if you keep going and never give up. Thank you Conan, I’m gonna miss seeing you on TV but I am excited to see you on HBOmax.
ReplyAnother beautiful Conan show moment on top of the hundreds of beautiful Conan show moments. I love these two! Conan, please don’t make us wait too long for the new show! No idea how I’m gonna get along without you
ReplyMe just realizing largo and mar a lago are not the same thing. That explains a lot.
ReplyI like Conan history, the fact Lisa Kudrow is part of that is just a bonus
Replythere were 20 other people in the room who didn’t become lisa or conan. don’t fall for survivorship bias.
ReplyI heard about this story from Conan’s podcast, when he interviewed Lisa. They talked about this theatre and their classes. So glad to see where it all happened.
ReplyI just had a dream about being in a dinner with The Friends cast where I said Phoebe have the most unique voice
ReplyI hope this encourages Michael Scott to not give up on his dreams of being on “Law and Order.”
ReplyThat “no” at the end was perfect
ReplyTwo comedy giants!
ReplyI always wonder what conan’s wife thinks of him talking to his ex about where they met
ReplyThis was almost too sweet to watch.
ReplyIn addition to their humble beginnings at the Largo and of course dating, Lisa also had a part in helping Conan with his audition for the Late Night show. When Lorne set up the audition, Lisa took Conan shopping to find a suit to wear for the audition. Eventually, Conan would become the host of the Late Night show and a year later Lisa would be in Friends and the rest, as they say, is history.
ReplyThey are soul mates no doubt and that doesn’t always mean romance, they seem to have such a special bond
Replyfully dead guy
ReplySooo….is Conan retiring from like everything or is he going onto another stint like Letterman? Because if he does, I would love to see a show of this format of “Life Lessons”. He really is a tender guy.
ReplyI feel like it was easier to make it with effort back then. Now it’s a crap shoot.
ReplyThat was generous of them to let us experience that special moment with them. They really brought that time in their lives into focus with their vivid descriptions.
ReplyHer laugh gets me every time.
ReplyI just love Lisa Kudrow so much. Her laugh compilations are so wonderfully delightful.
Reply1:12 What if I am old and my ability to dream has been crushed?
ReplyI loved this. All of his stuff is hilarious and this little bit was real and so inspirational. Both of them are obviously fantastic people and great in everything they work in.
ReplyAlways had a feeling cony and lisa knew each other for a v long time but since 1985 that’s amazing
Replyyeah its easy to feel like giving up ! but you really do never know who ya gonna meet !! even going to the shops you never know who you might meet !! rock n roll baby !
ReplyThey should have done the WHOLE interview there! It would have been so much more special.
Reply4:05 I was confused. I wasn’t sure where it was going at first haha.
ReplyFeels like a privilege to see this moment of them together in this place, at this point in their lives.
ReplyThese two cuties dated back in the day, and still have the utmost mutual respect for one another. So cute.
ReplyWe are all gonna miss this tall Irish women.
ReplyThe chemistry
ReplyI desperately want Norm Macdonald before this show ends last time 🙁
ReplyWill miss you Conan! Youre the GOAT.
ReplyI love when people pay Conan compliments because ik I could never give him a compliment in real life
ReplyI thought they were going to reenact their making out sections back in the day.
ReplyInteresting
ReplyOkay but why am i crying my eyes out…
Replythese guys have grown old and everything! and now they also are ending !!!!!! CONAN YOU CHANGED ME, YOU ENTERTAINED ME SINCE 2006 just so you know i was born in 2003. and when i was a kid i always just used to watch conan regardless if I could read or understand anything
Reply“No,no I want…more”
Reply“well…”
“60 procent”
“No”
Damn. This Norwegian woman got legs for days!!
ReplyHis move to streaming will be entirely worth it if they make a weekly Jordan Schlansky segment. I mean, how could they actually not?
ReplyBruh she hit the wall hard
ReplyI was surprised to hear his show was ending from this episode. Just with TBS, I hope we still will be getting good shows from him on HBO Max
ReplyI love how awkward Conan gets when someone tries to complement him.
ReplyRIP Cynthia Szigeti. One of the best improv and sketch teachers in the business.
Replyi loved that, your both awesome people
ReplyThis was actually damn inspiring. Amazing they were both in the same small improv class and became what they are now. Just really nice knowing that’s how it happened for them.
ReplyI am not crying! You’re crying.
Replyso cool that they are still friends so many years later.
ReplyWhere is the full video?
ReplyHeartwarming, inspiring, funny video! And we’re in a pandemic, so this felt super melancholic
ReplyThe last of the great ones is about to exit the building.
ReplyI was just wondering what’s up on Conan nowadays, I didn’t expect to see the show ending!!!
ReplyHe’s more than a host. I have listened to the podcast and followed the videos more than any other channel. I can’t think of another artist who speaks so openly about the process, highs, and lows. You’re an inspiration Conan!
ReplyJAcket is gettting TAIGHT!!
ReplyConan’s like “calm down everyone, I’ll go back to my normal hairstyle”
ReplyWait is the Conan show ending?????????????
ReplyThis is the first time I’ve seen Conan get emotional and sentimental about the show ending. I hope we see more of this rawness in the final episodes to come.
ReplyI don’t know why they didn’t show this whole clip as part of the “full interview”. The second half of this clip maybe isn’t the funniest, but it’s a real human moment. I know Conan is somewhat allergic to those, but it’s still nice to see them from time to time.
ReplyWhy is Conan leaving?
ReplyI love them both so much!!
ReplyAw! This was great to witness! I still remember when you guys talked about this on the Podcast too!
ReplyYOU & LISA HAVE TO RALLY OTHERS TO SAVE IMPROV CLASSES BC WE’RE LOSING UCB AND LOSING ENSEMBLE DEVELOPMENT
ReplyIt is so odd to see Conan like this; is it me or does Conan seem so different?
ReplyThat was so cool
ReplyIt seemed like they were getting closer and closer to admitting that they dated back in the day. Haha
Replywell, we all did
ReplyDoes anybody else feel like they would’ve made a lovely couple? No offense to either ones spouse.
