Poor Conan. NBC made him leave to many of his original materials when he left. TBS has indeed allowed him to do what ever he wanted, but unfortunately its just not going to be enough.
His ratings are just to low and this 30min format doesn’t seem to be working. Triumph the insult dog and all his other bits are the pieces missing from the show. If he was able to recreate those, I’m sure he would be doing well enough to satisfy TBS.
It’s only a matter of time before TV Conan is no more. Hopefully he can find a place where ratings don’t matter so much.
Saw this when it first aired, and never forgot it! I always think of it while looking at xmas lights.
