Like Barack was saying you will never get 100% there’s always going to be the 20%/30%/or more who straight up hate it. ReplyObama is correct. You can make things better, though it’s not always a straight line. The way I perceive it, force is never a good approach, rather, foster an environment where one may choose to find oneself thriving.
ReplyExample of force approach words: “Must”, “Should”, “Got To”, or “Have To”.
Example of freedom approach words: “Can”, “Possibility”, “Capacity”, “Could”, “Potentially”, “I Recommend”, or “I Suggest”.
The rest, is just setting a good example.
Inclusivity builds bridges, and promotes collaboration, whereas, exclusivity does the opposite.
If the United States is going to live up to its name, in being “United”, then it just makes sense, to remove wedges, instead of adding more.
Conan I love you and your podcast and mostly overlook your more liberal opinions but I gotta say having obama on and not questioning the war on terror, the failure of most of his policy goals, his destruction of Libya, Syria, Honduras, his deportation of millions of people, his support for despots in the gulf, Saudi Arabia, Iraq and Latin America, and any number of other things, is a disappointment. I know you wanna consider the Obamas your friends and perhaps even now are a bit star struck but the man you’re interviewing signed the death warrants for thousands of civilians overseas
