ReplyNot gonna lie, I place a large chunk of blame for America’s current state on Identity politics, and another, smaller but significant chunk on the shoulders of the Daughters of the Confederacy. As far as I can tell, identity politics aren’t even inherently bad, if simply used to single out groups that are getting the short end of the stick in order to give help where it’s most needed. Imo, it’s been used – or rather, misused – as a tool to widen divides to this critical mass we’re currently at.
What the DoC have accomplished and engendered speaks for itself…
