“A God who pays attention to people like Kevin McCarthy”

Better up your game mister Colbert or I’ll unsubscribe. Now your God of choice pays attention, but he didn’t in 2016 and through? I mean it’s okay to be gullible and extremely dumb. But this is too much.

Have your God, pray and of all of that. But please. Keep the complete lack of logic and critical thinking at home. This is sickening tbh.

I wished Kevin McCarthy would just withdraw all his give-aways, because at this point, he’ll be ineffectual as a leader of anything. We will not have a working congress, under the 20 nay-sayers even if they do finally vote for him. The Democrats will not get a thing either, and both the country and possibly the world will suffer. If only the Democrats and some reasonable Republicans could float a different person they could agree on, and stop this stalemate.

Yo Stephen, bring on Andrew Callaghan and interview him about his HBO documentary “This Place Rules”.

Given how desperately Republicans need support for Speaker of the House, do you think it would be rational for Democrats to give them minimal support instead of far-right representatives in order to get some concessions? Wouldn’t it be better to steer the Republicans even a little to the left instead of leaving them to the whims of the far right?

Colbert is right. This is the first time that it is BLATANTLY obvious that GOP plying with crazy has FINALLY some consequences…. So it is just so delicious to watch. I think it’s really not fair to call out Colbert or Democrats for having fun and/or for not helping. After all the dirty games Republicans played (e.g. stolen Supreme Court judge), I think Democrats deserve to have some fun with this one.

By far the worst guest I’ve ever seen with Colbert. I’m embarrassed for Chris Wallace. He is a complete idiot. I can’t watch this.

He makes a point. Whenever the fog lifts and whoever gets the position what are they going to do on devisive issues like the budget extension. If there is no concensis amongst themselves that could run of the rails in spectacular fashion.
