Anybody notice that Seth drank out of the wrong cup? He puts down his cup at 2:37 and then drank out of Geoffrey’s cup at 2:56. This is the classic move you pull when you’re trying to poison someone.

This was a weak segment. It felt wooden, the stoves seemed off (or very low), Seth looked like he had a drinking problem, and he complimented the chef so fast after putting the food in his mouth that it made the compliment unbelievable. I will wait for my letter from Seth thanking me for this critique.

Dear Seth, I know covid is supposed to be over, but you should not drink from your guest’s glass. Quite unsanitary on your side

This is like WWE cooking: they had to sell the moves for the crowd to buy the segment, but we all know the stoves were off, and that chicken was stone cold.

Only continued watching to see Seth drinking more, the preparation of the food really looked too fake.

I noticed Seth drank from his glass and his guest’s. What tickled me is you could see Chef Zakarian notice, not really knowing what to do about it, he grabs Seth’s first glass and places it on the other side of the room to stop confusion. But alas, Seth is drinking from both. You can almost see his thought when he is like f@#k it and drinks from the glass anyway.
Why the rushed segment Seth? Should have slowed the segment down. Didn’t see or hear anything about drink or food recipes, stoves weren’t on, and you didn’t give time for any banter. It was like a 30 min segment smashed into a few minutes.

It seems stiff but segments like this are usually insanely time crunched

Really bad suit for his body shape and skin tone. He deserves to have a suit he wears not one that wears him.

Segment was rubbish. You can add Italian seasonings to most chicken and it will be delightful.

Okay, so we’re just going to ignore that part of the $215k is “advice”? Okay, let me talk to my landlord, and pay with some “advice”…

After seeing how Seth responded to Hot Ones, I’m not surprised he had Geoffrey “black pepper is too hot” Zakarian on.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a really good cooking segment on a late night show. 🤔 Some decent ones in daytime TV but even then the hosts always interject and interrupt way too much to actually even hear the chef explain the recipes and process.

The stove says, ‘7’. So… It’s not at zero. It must be on.

In case you’re unclear on the concept, he was there to promote his show.

Zakarian bears an uncanny resemblance to Teller.

Speaking of pounding your chicken – here’s a simple recipe – pound a breast very thin and use it in place of a pizza crust. If you don’t want to pound your breast, season and place in cold oven at 450 degrees for 30 minutes, let rest 10 minutes – perfect every time (adjust time by a few minutes for breast size – i.e. 25 minutes for a small breast)
