The other day my neigbour asked me to call an ambulance for her husband, who was vomitting profusely with stomach cramps in the middle of the night… To my surprise the operator was quite efficient and said she would call me back to see if and ambulance would be available… To my surprise, she actually did call me back (by havig my number on their caller i.d.) about an hour or so later, to notify me that there were unfortunately no ambulances avaialable, hey, at least she had the courtesy to tell me… Either way, my neigbour’s hubby was fine two days later.
